is it viable to use this build (on SC) with IIQ/IIR gear?
or is it better just to use the other Low-Life build for farming.

Re-spec'd my Templar into this currently lvl 81, following the crit version.
Very different from any other characters I have and really enjoying it.

what is powercharge on crit good for? does the bonus from powercharges affect sparks? or is it only to freeze more?

do wake of destruction and other added lightning damage gear unique work with spark totems?
i was under the impression only linked supports work for totems .

Hmmmm, once you have ancestral bond, isn't ice spear as seperate skill pretty much useless since you can't deal any damage anymore with spells?

Or do the power charges still appear when using it even if no damage was done?

it is used to create power charges, once the power charges are obtains .. then summon the totem to get the crit benefit

also it freezes the mobs on crit .

So, Ancestral Bond just doesn't deal damage but it can still hit critically? And by hitting critically can freeze the mobs and build up power charges?

Wake of Destructions would not work, same with honourhome or thunderfists with regards to added lightning. I believe the increased elemental from windscreams even though a minor damage upgrade would have an effect though. This is pretty easy to test yourself though, just throw some jewellery on with added lightning and see for yourself. Its the same mechanic I doubt just because its from a unique item it would effect the way the game and skill would treat the item mod.

Also was recently able to obtain a Rise of Phoenix and managed to respec into a righteous fire version of this build similar to what his trying in the month race on his shadow. Must say the increase in damage from Pain Attunement and Righteous Fires buff is pretty insane. Wish I had discovered the low life version earlier.
