I think hes concerned about lacking the stats for the red gems
Not as big a deal now that you can add stats to items with haku

I have some question and notes for you(build 1) :)
1. What do you think about using LMP instead of Increased AOE
2. What do you think about using Herald Of Ice + something, for exemple + Added Chaos DMG + Added Lightning DMG + Added Cold DMG instead of 4L Vall spark. It would be good with Doryani's Catalyst.
3. You could add that for people with problem with survivability, before they will craft 1% ele leech or/and buy belt with 1% ele leech, they can use LL gem.
4. Another interesing option is using this staff, you lose some of your survivability, but you recive 7L BL.

If that's the case, then yeah, its easy to add stats you need with the masters. I'm having no problems so far.

1) While it does give more AoE in some situations, it makes you lose a lot of DPS because BL cannot shotgun. (Read mechanics section.) I tested it extensively, Inc AoE is better.
2) It's a possibility, but such a herald of ice, linked to a lot of stuff, would take a lot of mana reservation.

1. I thought that if sparks from ball aren't projectals, LMP isn't decreas damage. THX i will check BL + IAoE
2. Yes you're right, i forget that HoI is % not flat:)

My first post, in point 4 i wrote "this staff" world staff is link to http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Pledge_of_Hands. The whole point 4 is about Pledge of Hands :)
