They make the area of the ball bigger but area DAMAGE doesn't apply.

There are no pros and cons listed for the third build; can anyone tell me a bit about the advantages of the hybrid spec? I understand that the gear requirements are lower. Does it have slower clear speed? Is it not capable of doing certain map types? What are the other upsides besides low gear requirements? Also is there anything that should be changed considering the CI nerfs or anything like that?

I'm not a complete noob so just a quick rundown would be great. Also I should note that I'm going to be playing Rampage so a little extra damage over survivability is likely okay. Gonna start leveling now, thanks in advance!

Love your guide, just one suggestion for the crit builds: As of 1.2, Whispers of Doom is bloody amazing.

Skip the road south to Scion, get a second curse instead. Assassin's mark easily makes up for the notables in the Scion area, AND lets you skip Power Charge on Crit! Just use arc+Curse on Hit+Conductivity+Ass Mark (or any two curses of your choice).
