Yep, you have to level as life, no other way. I just played the Garena server for a few hours a day last few days, and tried specing into CI at level 35 (start of cruel). Needles to say, it didn't work out well :D I think my death counter is like 30-ish.

Should be easy to level as hybrid anyways. You get a ton of hybrid nodes anyways, my 63 points build has 100% life and 200% ES, which is a ton!

30 deaths is fairly reasonable for me before Merciless dom.

I've died 15+ times before simply brute-forcing Cruel Dom.

Unlike some, I'm not willing to play HC and lose essentially months of playing time due to my kids distracting me...and they are worth at least 3 SC deaths/week usually

Hahaha, you really made me laugh! :D I feel for you, man! Although I enjoy doing HC races, I also like to play softcore for the 4-month leagues.

Nope, not possible to run all, especially with lvl 20 clarity. They're there to use them as you need them. Also, it'd be better to leave clarity unleveled. I'll post the details about that after a few days in the new leagues.

Of course, run discipline and purity of lightning by default, preferably. It depends on how our mana will work.

Most bosses are stationary so for single target i would recommend using slower projectile support for more efficiency, also with 30% buff i think empower becomes better the add lightning and adds slot to swap to life leech on reflect maps.

For single target 4link storm call is much better than any BL setup. Esp if storm call crit chance went up

I dont like delay storm call has.

For single target, just use the Vaal Spark I listed in the build ;) seriously, though. On one map run, I'd charge it several times, and would always save it for bosses. Helps a lot.


Patch night tonight! Hype! Can't wait! Unfortunately, I will be playing for the first few hours only, after which I leave for a 3-day trip, so updates to this thread will have to wait :(
