And this is why remove only tabs should have 60-90 day expiration. Niceness from GGG turning around and biting them in the ass. Why pay when you can get it for free?

Mebbe. However, the remove-only tabs from an expired league could contain anything, and having a load of uniques and currency and such simply disappear when the tabs expired, too, would be a PR nightmare. ='[.]'=

I only play temp leagues. The remove only tabs on standard/hardcore really don't bother me if they got changed as I don't use them. I'm more concerned with race rewards being bound someplace I don't want them to be as a result of buying tabs.

That's good news! Appreciate it.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, but my gut reaction is that there is something off about it (I still haven't gone on invasion since I bought a bundle recently, so it likely happened to me also).

That means I paid to upgrade my remove-only tabs, not for 6 extra premium tabs (at least when it comes to leagues in which I have remove-only tabs, in new leagues I will indeed have the extra tabs)..

Personally it is what it is, at this point it wouldn't bother me. But honestly I think I would be a little upset (just a little, since i didn't know beforehand.. in which case I would still buy them anyway, I hate remove tabs) if it was earlier in the leagues and I still had a shop going and still needed currency. I don't want to act entitled considering its a F2P game, it's just my "gut" feeling about it, that's all.

Ultimately though, if GGG sees remove only tabs as a burden on their tab sales, I get that. I just think maybe they could add it to the description. I dunno'.

They did make amends with me but I would much rather they announce this and change the wording on the MTX to something other than 'adding'.

Tl/dr: the point is it should have been communicated prior to the change. Lacking that communication, I will be helping to get the word out.

This. I think the change itself was fine, but should at least have been announced. It's not a big deal for me either way, but if nothing else, it sets a bad precedent.
