So far I'm not sure I have built 'out of the box' other than playing my own way without consulting some guides but then you pick up ideas from making so many different builds (which I have).Like I notice Flame totem still shatters enemies despite such low cold damage but generally only the low life enemies (like beatles and spitters).Ice Nova I notice gets huge benefits from added damage gems.So I think there's great potential for ignoring a spells main damage element and boosting a different one for a different status effect(three dragons kinda spoils the challenge although more limited).

I'm wondering about using Cold snap in a cold to fire+burn build since it seems perfect for it with higher per hit and cooldown,burn damage is wasted on a fast casting spell which this is not.

I'm currently leveling a character I themed around Tron (Rinzler). He's a dual wield claw shadow, that uses elemental spectral throw. DISC WARS!!

I guess what makes it different from other elebuzzsaw builds is that it's DW, claws instead of foils, and I focus on LGOH instead of leech.

Veil of Night, Cast when Stunned

Since my resists were always 0, I was able to equip Immortal Flest + all DPS,magic find, and Crit Strike gear. Making my myriad of cast while stunned links go bananas everytime they went off. And they went off frequiently because I reflected vulnerability onto my character so he'd get stunned ALL the time.

It actually was the easiest build I've ever leveled. Even I don't understand why it worked so well. I put the build on hold until I found a better spell to use than glacial cascade. Maybe GGG will make a better spell for the build at some point. But killing things was easy it's just his movespeed was so slow.

people dismiss so many points of this build that it is funny

and yet - it still works despite ~4k dps tooltip, no multistrike and being mana-based

I started this build as a totally different fun project. But from the time I began it until now, they buffed Poison Arrow twice. It accidentally ended up being pretty powerful.

Good idea for a thread, Charan. Currently I am working on a mapping with an Ambush character wearing full exp. My character's name is Ondals. I am hoping to hit level 90 and earn a 6 next to my name by Wednesday.

Dude, that is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. That looks awesome, original but clearly trying to emulate something 'external' to PoE and I can see how it'd work.

Perhaps even more importantly, you've chosen to use a pretty cheesy skill in an interesting, entertaining way. Rock on.

How is that applicable to this thread? I don't know how you play it. I don't know what it looks like. You haven't explained what makes it unorthodox or almost useless, crazy or that it shouldn't work but does.
