its not necessary to tank the 3 mini bosses, you can just use IC :)

alluring abyss mobs are not a problem if you play carefully as a melee.
2-h HS with stun and 10sec IC spam is enough to slowly clear it, i know, since i did it.

the problem are the bosses.

uber vaals do huge dmg. their cold attack freezes 78%CR and 11k life, so alpha's comes in handy.

the trio is out of the question without IC.

the uber atziri is perhaps doable with melee crit and atziris acuity and requires high eva + ondars.

i have no doubts that perf melee low-life dagger build can do her, but what i would really like to see is the 2-h char killing her.

2-hand chars for endgame maps (in hardcore) are a noob-trap atm.

Lets see you use <= 3 auras like normal melee.

Otherwise it is the same low life snapshotting that makes Uber Atziri way easier (based on posted videos).

Still waiting to see a <= 3 aura melee Uber kill. Hasn't been done yet.

Lol, you guys aren't going to be happy until a melee scrub in 5 ex worth of gear is happily facetanking Uber Atziri I see.


I can use 5+ auras without snapshotting, more if you suck it up and use a terrible Prism Guardian.


So no, I will not be facerolling her in shitty life gear with my mana reserved doing 0 dps with a Soul Taker on - but I WILL be melee and that is what this thread is about.
