Mhm aura nerf? Didnt saw any official post about that. We need Anger + Wrath for Damage.

i think windripper is dead with the aura nerf and physical base dmg buff of bows...

Windripper can't be killed - too high crit, too high speed

My PhysCrit ranger can do about 15k DPS Split/Chain - and it clears very fast solo and holds it's own in groups. This guy does ever 100k - if his damage gets literally cut in half from all the nerfs, which is probably an overstatement, it could still carry 6 person parties.

probably yes in full party with generosity support, but in solo.... hm....
-30%dps from coe, maybe another -30%dps from auras?
in solo from 70k split arrow to 35-40k

basically with arc lvl 21 and an empower you reach almost the same dps... spending 700-800 exalted less than any other low life crit build :/

Regardless, Arc's tooltip is not comparable to Split/Chain.

1 Arc Chaining 7 times is vastly inferior to 7 Split Arrows Chaining 2 times. Given equal tooltip DPS, Split Arrow will blow it out of the water in terms of clear speed.

Windripper gives Mirror worthy Bow performance for about half the cost.

i see 68k dps without vaal haste

anyway my low life glyph mark ranger, without coe , 29k dps instead of 44k, with the aura nerf probably 25k

windripper build would lose even more dps, probably about 50% because all its damage come from anger and wrath and windripper won't benefit in case of base damage buff which is physical i guess

I guess it's all relative, and we won't know exactly until things change. But there are other ways to build things as well if you needed to. Auras go to hell? Get T1 Lightning damage on both rings, and amulet and Quiver. Flat rolls still take advantage of the speed and crit.

Will it be the same? No. But still very strong comparable to other bow options. The speed and crit chance in the Windripper are so definitive, that you will always be able to make a good build around them somewhow.

I am also phys crit ranger non lowlife with 100k chain, its possible without windripper lowlife

Now it isn't possible to be able to tell how much this build has been affected by the patch until we actually play it, but the tree has been released. Anyone been toying with it yet?
