ReverendBizzarre: ele cleave templar [6k life, 45k+ dps]

Looking for a bit of advice. I am lvl 36 and feeling a bit under geared. DPS is a lowly 370ish and that's WITH Wrath. Ill post my skill tree and eqpt later when I'm at home but my question is this...

I have 2 divines and 3 blesseds just sitting doing nothing since I don't want to waste them on low level stuff, should I trade them for alch's and CO's to try and help out my gear situation?? Or just grind it out?

My build is similar, but yeah I stopped at shadow and am not heading down to IR. The one in the OP is an all points build, and I really wanted my build to feel "done" long before that. Also even with all the dex in the OP build, you'll still only be at about 70% chance to hit with corsair swords. Since you don't have any crit nodes anyway, RT just makes sense.

my current build

If I ever reach max level (which of course I won't) it will look like this.

Basically following the focus of the build to its logical conclusion: max possible AoE. Conduit because I'm always spamming enduring cry, and I'm always in a group, so might as well.

Realistically though, my build is pretty much done. I'm level 84. I'll be finished with health nodes at 86, conduit would happen at 90. I probably don't have the patience to get to 90.

Going somewhere in between the two build my self.
I posted my passive tree last page and I'll think I'll make
a thread once I reach higher level (with credits given to you and Victor of course).

Both work, by the way magic, i'd do it like this for max level: Passive skill tree build

No conduit, because my group should get their own charges the lazy bastards!!

Well nobody else in my regular group runs conduit, and if I ever get good chaos resists I'll be adding blood rage, so might as well share my charges I figure. But yeah, that build works too. I wouldn't follow the cold line, just because I barely have any cold damage though. Mostly lightning and fire. If I was going to skip conduit I'd probably head for arcing blows and the frenzy charge (since by that level I should have good chaos resist):

Build

The extra dex would let me stop using lioneye's paws, which is pretty tempting, but I do like group synergy. My spark totem friend is giving up a fair amount to run triple curse (conductivity + elemental weakness + enfeeble, which is SOOOO money), so I can give up a little to get conduit (the increased AoE is neat anyway).

So - here's my tree - it doesn't match the OP build exactly because I came to this thread after I had started already - I'm only a few points out of line - I think.

Gear - lol - dont laugh

I know my elem damage is crap right now and that is a major contributor to my suckiness - but any advice would be appreciated.
Yeah you could save a few points by fixing your route out of templar, but it sounds like you already know what you need to do. You need jewelry with elemental damage on it, and faster weapons. You can get elemental damage jewelry from vendors sometimes, which is good to do at your level.

You need to ditch added fire damage for weapon elemental (you should have gotten it as a quest reward by now), and move enduring cry some place else and add in life on hit.

You need anger and wrath. You may not be able to level wrath right away because of int requirements, but anger you should have a few levels into at least. Moving at least a bit in the int direction (maybe just 20 int for 2 points going to elementalist) is going to be needed sooner rather than latter, as auras really do contribute a huge part of your damage, particularly at lower levels with bad gear.

Awesome - thanks man!

Not sure how I ended up with added fire... I thnk I remember picking it because it was cheaper on the mana. I'll have to trade for LoH right? It's not offered to Templars right?
Yeah you'll have to trade, or rush a marauder or duelist through a1. Probably easier just to trade since it shouldn't cost more than a chaos.
Seeing you have spent 42 points you probably are 30+ lvl.
Watch out for Cutlass swords (base item level 38).
I found two white ones and crafted them with quite good stats but can't link
them now cause I logged my witch out with the alternate weapons.
To crit or not to crit ?
