ReverendBizzarre: ele cleave templar [6k life, 45k+ dps]

Hey victor I just wanted to say I love your build. My first toon was a lv 63 LA ranger that couldn't get past act 1 merci, but on this toon I'm lv 66 and just started maps. My question is I have a 5l that I'm currently using life leech instead of concentrated effect. My dps is 4300 atm do u think I should switch in concentrated effect or leave in ll. and if you suggest switching them where will my survivability come from?

for the love of god, DONT switch LL for CE. without it you will die. a lot. use CE only if you have a 6L. and even then I find it kind of meh, the dmg boost is insane but the decrease in AoE is actually quite noticeable and I did find it to be extremely annoying.

+1, lvl 80 atm and was shit without LL, using LL and CE now that I have a 6L though

Well im lvl 65 now and im Using due to my shitty 5L Faster Attack + ManaLeech + Conecentrated Effect + Life Leech or Ele Dmg!!I switch these two depending on the stuff i do!Due to the fact that my nice weapon also got 5 hit on life and my amulet aswell i think i sometimes gain enough hp just without life leech! But dont use it if u wanna do hard maps or quests :D

My auras are anger,wrath,purity,haste!I use Purity to be ABOVE max resis!Its quite important cause there are alot of mobs with curses etc and i dont want to die to them!Also i can reach like 82 Resis i think with the one passive! I also got Vitality but i only use it instead of Haste if i really need more survivability!Also my rejuvenation totem is quite a nice tank!:)

Love this build!I just have to switch one gem and i mean i change from a insane dmg dealer to a pretty nice tank!

as u see i get 12 life on hit back!not alot but its fine without life leech for some areas!like fellshrine farming etc!

is the helmet ok?

You can replace faster attacks with weapon ele support.
Helm looks decent, weapons could be better, try to get more ele damage on them and attack speed.

Hy Victor , ive been a power siphon templar for 1 month , 20k dps single target with 450 crit cmulti and 45% crit chance , ive been 1-2 shot rares . But that was booring i always wanted to play a melee class m be brave and get in front of mobs.


So after some research with your build and other and some streams , i went into this and i believe its better than yours cause i dont skip any maps this way and i play only solo.

My stats at lvl 76 with pretty crappy gear (2 chaos weapons each) - i made a new character lvl 76 in 4 days.


4.1 k hp
5.5k armor (cause i have a 400 armor/150 es 6linked chest)
13k dps on cleave
using 3 auras: grace/ anger/wrath and u will understand why :)
80 resist to all

the next points go into ele dmg on templar side and going into celestial warlker so i can change my neck with a life one and no resist . And after that i will go into the 3-4 hp nodes missing on the templar side and the hp nodes with finally elem dmg on shadow side.

I dont remember saying i cant do some maps or that i skip maps, i dont know where you got that from, my build can do any map including elemental reflect

well ive got currently 4.5k hp and 14k dps on cleave with the tanky gear for higher maps, with the dps gear for low level maps i'm on 3.7k HP and 18.6k dps, 6.5k armor, 140 life/s, max all 80 reistances.

how exactly is your build better? you also gimped yourself by taking blood magic, now being unable to use auras like purity for ele weakness maps.

By the time you reach level 90 this build will have less % life, 30% less elemental damage, less resistances, less armor and it uses Bm when BM is not needed because cleave is a cheap skill.

we must compare the final builds into exilepro.com to see who gets better hp %/ armor at the end of the build.

Im using flask with +ele resist on those kind of maps , as i dont use any mana flask and i dont have to care about mana or i dont have to keep a mana leech gem so u see here there are many benefict by doing this.

I stand at 130 life/second w/o the 1% hp /sec node in templar zone yet wich ill take when ill hit 5 k hp or higher .

In my opinion intelect nodes and mana regen/mana leech gem are the weak points of this build. Str is your main friend , along with the required dex to use the rapiers.

You will need just elemental damage weapons with attack speed, life and ele neck, and chest i would try to buy a 6l Glroious plate

Mana leech means you can spam cleave with the ability of also using % auras on your mana pool, and not having to sacrifice any life at all, mana regeneration helps for casting normal skills that dont leech mana, intellect is necessary for auras like Wrath since at level 20 it requires 148 intelligence.

the important parts: 312% life, 120% armor, 141% ele damage, 38% all rez, 18% IAS (24% with krayt reward), 2% life regen, 32% mana

I contemplated the routes i can take with my build for a long time when i was making it, after lots of maths, comparisons etc. i arrived to the conclusion that the way i do it is the best way, any other routes are indeed inferior, none offer as much damage and survivability.
