Just out of curiosity...
Would you mind to explain to me why not using LS with the same build you have done? Seems that LS would work perfectly fine as well with your build? Thanks in advance! /T IGN: Azatooth or Xploding

LS scales very well with Physical modifiers, which completely changes the nature of an ideal build. If you were going to go LS, you should use a different setup entirely.

" Ahh I see... Then another question.. How does these Melee damage nodes work? Wouldnt they be good for any build regardless if it's a LS build or like this sweet Cleave build? Since is specifically says melee then it would add damage regardless if it's being physical or elemental as long you are using a melee weapon and a skill with the melee skilltype? Shouldn't these work good with this build then? /T IGN: Azatooth or Xploding

The nodes say specifically "Increased melee physical damage"

" You could replace the Mana Leech gem with a high level Culling Strike gem (pref. with quality), and it would work quite comfortably if you have some decent mana regen/phys mana leech, which leaves you at 19 mana per swing (Weapon Element, Life Leech, Faster Attacks, Culling Strike), assuming you are using a 5L. For a 6L the only viable gems I can think of are Increased area, Concentrated effect, fire/cold/light penetration, which will take the mana cost to ~28-31 per swing, and is probably too hard to sustain with this type of build. You can probably change the build to get some mana reduction nodes and get somewhere around 40-45% mana reduction, taking you down to ~15-16 mana cost which is quite comfortable to maintain. I had a build which utilised the mana reduction nodes hoping to achieve the same thing but decided to go a different route. I might need to revise that build now that I have new knowledge from playing up to level 80. Edit: This is probably what I'd go with for a mana reduction build. This allows you to replace Mana Leech with Culling Strike, which is roughly ~20%-30% damage increase. Last edited by Stardrinker#2663 on Feb 21, 2013, 11:34:16 PM

Going to ask again, why do you not level cleave?
|
|
" Mana cost and it only scales physical dmg, which this build doesn't do much of. IGN = pibDeath

when should i start use cleave?
|
|
I used it from the start and so far, the ele cleave templar was tho smoothest to level up.
