ReverendBizzarre: ele cleave templar [6k life, 45k+ dps]

I have 4k armor, but my damage reduction is only 3x%, why?

My other char has a similar armor amount, but the damage reduction is higher than that
Vic I'm loving this build thanks for sharing.

Purity is a good suggestion but dropping clarity isn't. He should run discipline to gain more mana, and add in purity. If discipline doesn't give him enough mana to do that, he should stop running hatred in order to run purity.

The whole point of an EB build is that you don't need to use a mana leech gem, besides, he doesn't have the sockets to use mana leech right now anyway.

58 now, switched some things around got some medicore drops crap stats but better links :P

So now i run with Wrath, Anger, Purity, Discipline and Clarity. Killed Brutus and now on my way to Merveil.

Really need to get some better weapons it seems if i kill faster than they kill me all will be good, haha.

I focus mainly on resist upping now. That´s all i can do. With all 5 Auras i can use so far i have Cleave tooltip dps of 1569,4 and AS 1,93.

Grinded Ledge form 54 to 57 and didn´get one drop whom i could use. But managed to get a 4L BBBR Chest so theres my blue auras and the reduced mana gem.

Thanks for all the help guys really appreciate it.

The DW Witch is just too much fun i will fight my way through even if it´s tough as my first "real" char.

And adding Temporal Chains was just icing on the cake.

gear now looks like this

Link faster attacks to cleave !
To crit or not to crit ?
Glad to hear it is working better for you.

Try out enfeeble instead of temporal chains. For melee enfeeble is generally the better defensive curse. Temp chains is interesting for ranged because of the snare, but for melee you want the flat damage reduction a lot more than the attack speed reduction. Smaller hits are better mitigated by armor, and make your incoming damage more even - and thus less dangerous and easier to counter with leech.

This of course requires him to have a socket with which to do that.

Lioneye's are the only item he has that might be worth using currency items on. The EB witch variant is a little dex starved so chances are he'll be using those for a long time. Still, 4Ling it is probably out of his budget, as that can take quite a few fusings if you're unlucky.

Got lucky today found a faster attacks and another reduced mana.

Took your advice and 8 fusings and 17 chromatics later

So now another 4link for my other auras which are not running on reduced mana yet and with getting 59 i get Body&Soul which will allow me to either run Grace or Haste on top of the other 5.

Looking good. Thanks again for all the tips.
Well, I lost 800 hitpoints, 400 mana (es node nerf), 400 damage (inner force nerf), and 4% max resists (inner force nerf, elemental adaptation nerf).

I dunno if it worth the 2 points for elemental adaptation really anymore. That node may now only be useful for righteous fire builds. It just doesn't do enough unless you're actively trying to stack max resist for something specific.

All in all I suppose it didn't hurt too bad. I need to get more es/mana somewhere, because right now my mana pool is too small to cast skelly totem.

edit: did a quick piety run, as a percentage of my hitpoints, she does less damage than she did before, which translates to an effective total hitpoint buff in this patch. My build seems fine, doesn't need a major re-work, although I will probably drop elemental adaptation, and maybe inner force.

I am only level 61, and I seem to be same old. I lost a few points of all-resist, but physical stuff is definitely not hitting as hard. I don't think there is any reason to full respec, but I'd like to see what you guys change if you do do it.

Post your new builds.
almost 60 and i had no mana leech linked to cleave, instead of it i had faster attack linked on it which gives better survivability.
the mana problem can be fixed by just a mana pot.
