" Thanks for the insight Korgoth. An update: I had to replace "melee splash" with "Life leech" - this build needed lot´s of leeching after all. The good news is that, with the leeching taking place, we can trade the Vitality aura for anger aura. With the absence of Melee splash, the single target damage improved as well, and rares/boss killing became easier. I'll probably be trading some regen nodes for Max Life ones soon. I like this!
You could take 20 Dex, 10 Strength in between the duelist frenzy charge and the 1.5% life regen node instead of +30 Dex. I'd usually go for the Strength, do you need the Dex? " You are right, no need for more dex indeed. I´ve being playing around with the trees and started to believe that the Duelist is probably no the best starting point for this build. The Templar and Ranger are. But they both will work better as CI. This is the build I'm dying to test on my Ranger. The character is at standard Server and is fully end-game geared towards CI/Critical strike. Ranger CI/CRIT build version |

" "Crystal skin" and the "40% avoid being chilled" behind it. You are right next to it in your tree, take it! Even if you have an Auxium belt, still take it. God, I hated being chilled by every freaking cold damage monster so much when I was playing CI (I only had Dream fragments, not Auxium). I'm generally not a big fan of investing skill points in the smaller 15% crit chance nodes. How is this damage in 77+ maps in a party? You must be having a tough time trying to kill mobs?

" Oh, not there yet. My character is still at 74. Leveling and playing around with this (while fine tuning it). That´s why I avoided any "qualification" comments on the OP such as how good or bad it's survivability is. Right now, the latest registered benchmark is the one you saw on that video (72 map, 72 char). Performance wasn´t stellar, at all. But It didn't day, thats something lol. As soon as I gear up a little better, I'll be hitting some higher level maps. |

Need more DPS indeed.
Build has changed. It is now THIS and probably will become something like THIS. I think I'll need a Thief's torment ring to get rid of the Life Leech Gem, Endurance on stun and Blood Magic Gem (grabbing Splash Damage, WED and Fire penetration. This is really a working in progress... I'll get this stated at the beginning of the OP. update: Already had to give up on the "Endurance Charge on melee stun" for a WED because stuff were taking forever to die. I've changed a lot of things here. Haven't take the time to change the OP yet, but basically it came down to this:
- No more Blood Magic Gem > Using Thief's torment + mana pots OR Thiefs torment + Clarity - Main attack is: Flicker > Multi strike > WED > Fast Attacks > Splash > Life on hit (or Fire penetration on easy maps). - Build changed to THIS - I've being flerting with the Three Dragons mask. As soon as I get some Regret Orbs, I'll invest some chance to shock. This is probably going to double the DPS. - Using atziri's foible paua amulet temporarily until I get a goog mana gegen / dmg ammy. - Pot's are 2 life, 1 mana, 2 speed |
