Just because name Legolas is taken, doesnt mean there are no good names left! :P

Same people who complain about having no names also complain about there not being enough players in the game. The only consistent aspect of their posts are that they're complaints.

They need to disable the names on all the characters that haven't been played in 3 months so other people can use them. If those players decide to play the game in the future they would have to pick a new name. Done, and done.

You do know character limit is referring to your actual characters where you are only allowed 24 right? It is telling you you can't make anymore characters because you will be over that limit.

People (constantly coming and then) leaving the game (for good), means their char names will be reserved forever. So there is some correlation between the two complaints.

Sure, but if I were to leave would anyone really miss not being able to pick Mornathanacelaunthriin as your name? :)

And if those players come back, what then? Do they get their names back? Man, if I'm the archer with name Legolas, you're not taking that, even if I were gone for 15 years.

Honestly, this thread... complain about nothing, really.

Wow, with major game play problems such as desync, RNG gambling disguised as crafting, exp. gated behind RNG, item progression, play balance for solo verses groups (not fair that groups gain exp. much faster), relief for fusing and jeweller starvation, public stash real trading system (not chat crap), no real endgame level 100 goal except map grinding, etc., I find it odd that you have to complain about naming a new character.

True, the best names are gone but you can always do what I did with a new duelist melee build, add a Roman numeral to it. So my latest Ambush build is Inigo_Montoya_VIII. If you keep trying you will eventually find an unused name. Just think of all the middle age rulers and their 8th, 14th, etc. name.
