1.3 Blitz Diarrhea | Static Strike | Feb 3. Major Update!
Well, my Ground Slam DW build is still in the works, as of now it's level 7 or 8, so I haven't really had the chance to try things out yet. All I can tell at this point is that this build would be just fun as it's oriented around two low cost unique items, Ungil's Gauche and The Anvil, so you should be able to get max block as soon as level 45.

|
Update: traded Mana Leech for Blood Magic and added Tempest Shield for additional 4% block, now your max block should be 59%. Or 65%, if you decide to skip those three 6% life/armor nodes in the Marauder tree and spend them on block.
Also, I'm collecting questions for the Q&A vid. Ask anything you need to know. :) Last edited by Dzwonsson#4696 on May 11, 2014, 5:54:37 PM

Hey Bro, you could use that little dot right after the "Fervor" (frenzy node). It's not an increased duration node, it's actually a "4% evazion per frenzy charge" and that will technically help on the job done currently only done by "endurance charges" (not as much, but will help).

Well, it's totally useless in my case as I have only one single piece of gear that has evasion rating and that is my helmet, which grants me 260 evasion if I remember correctly. If it was armor and evasion or at least armor, then yeah, I'd obviously pick that node.

I slightly updated the 110 tree trading the fire damage nodes for the mace physical ones close to Resolute Techniques.

Dear OP:
have you ever considered this gem: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Concentrated_Effect Tell me what u think about this in combination of Molten Strike and point blank. |
|
Yes, I did. As a matter of fact I even tried it out. And because this build is meant to be a hybrid of melee and projectile damage my clearing speed dicreased dramatically while replacing any of my supports with Concentrated Effect. This gem is very effective if you are focusing on the projectile damage only. I'm not. I don't even know if I'd be going for Concentrated Effect if I had a 6 link. Added Fire Damage might be a better option if I wanna keep the balance between melee and projectile damage.

" How do you sustain the necessary life expenditure? Blood Rage alone shouldn't be enough, would it? Not sure what you gain by using blood magic instead of mana leech? And would you suggest never using mana leech at all? |
|
Q20 Blood Rage should be enough, but I also get additional 2% physical leech off the Blood Drinker keystone + 1% elemental leech off Doryani's Catalyst. Combined with ~250 life regenerartion it's more than enough. What did I gain by replacing Mana Leech with Blood Magic? Additional 4% block off Tempest Shield. Of course, if you think you'd rather keep your life leech/regen for defensive purposes only, sure, go for it. I don't have any problems with Mana Leech. I used it myself until very recently, but I couldn't resist getting additional 4% block.
