1.3 Blitz Diarrhea | Static Strike | Feb 3. Major Update!

Hey Dzwonsson great build!!! im doing a marauder version, a little bit more defensive, i would like to get ur guys feedback if its going to work, i noticed that even without running grace when i use my flask with 6 endurance charges i get 90% phys reduction so im thinking about drop grace and use no armor aura, its risk i know but if you manage to have a good flask management you can run around with the armor from gear only, plus u get a new dmg aura to compensate! my big question is about gearing, i can get AoF right now but im afraid to lost all my leech so i dont know what to do! Looking foward ur guys opinion!

PS: i dont really know how good the Lava lash nodes are for Molten strike. And there's alot of life on this spec, i got 5k already without finishing the life nodes, it feels like some life should be leave aside to get more damage.

This build works quite well, I really need to farm up doryanis though... the elemental proliferation and +% ele dmg are really needed to make this work :/

Currently leveling up a character for this build, and i bought some quality gems and a Lioneye's. Was wondering what i should look for in a mace since i don't have enough currency for a Doryani's...

Just a lot of IPD and IPD%?

Here are a couple leveling maces for this build, what you should be looking for. ofc wep elemental damage is better.

I also have a build question. OP, you have Anger, tempest shield, Determination, and purity of fire on one build. Since it isnt possible to run these all, why are they included?

^There'll be an update on auras as well. But, to answer your question, sometimes you need to swap auras as you have to adjust to a certain map/boss. Other thing is, I'm constatly adjusting this build as I receive feedback from yoy guys, so with the next update you can expect some major changes based on what we've discussed recently.

Makes good sense. Personally I don't really like switching stuff, I just like to chug along through whatever. I am level 82 with your build right now and I really like it. The build has good survivability compared to most softcore builds I've played. I decided to go with Lightning coil to get excellent phys mitigation. With this gear I can take huge crits no problem, but the build is lacking in elemental dmg mititagtion. I am considering a couple things to help with this:

1. Use Alpha's Howl with all purity auras to increase resists by up to 79% each (with 80% on fire due to passive). Purity of lightning would be doing double duty with mitigating lightning and physical damage while wearing the lightning coil, but I would lose a significant amount of armor vs. running determination. I would also lose 1700 tooltip dps by not running anger.

2. Use some item that gives block chance to spells or spell block: I'm not sure what Saffell's would do but not blocking attacks would probably be really bad. Rainbowstride also seems too situational. Stone of Lazhwar would actually be good on this build... but I'm not an expert

3. Use Rumi's Concoction.

Option 1 is most reliable but has the greatest tradeoff, option 3 is least reliable but has no tradeoff.
Thoughts anyone?
