[1.1.5] Kenzorz Crit Glacial Cascade Witch (updated for 1.3.0)
Would you say Flame Surge is better, or worse, for this sort of build? It does more DPS itself, but I'm not sure how it copes with supoorts. Care to test and let us know?

" Flame Surge has better damage, but the skill AoE width is thinner than Glacial Cascade's making it harder to kill big spread out packs and the range is also significantly smaller. It works well with similar supports and build to Glacial Cascade, I tried a lvl 1 Flame Surge and it seems to scale well with my build, despite not having any fire damage at all. I don't have a high level Flame Surge to test for DPS comparison, but I can imagine Flame Surge has better overall DPS with the 50% more damage vs burning. Don't forget that Glacial Cascade hits multiple times per cast, so its DPS is higher than the tooltip.
Also, for Flame Surge to be effective, you must have a reliable source of ignite, like Fire Traps. Probably our GC totem with Three Dragons helm would be quite good at proliferating ignites. Still, your full dps depends on a secondary mechanic which becomes mandatory instead of being supportive. This is my major concern about Flame Surge, as I personally hate having to stop and setup every pack of mobs i fight. Also, you lose the freezing, which is a nice boost to survivability. Overall, i think both skills are equal in effectiveness, with GC biased toward being more defensive and FS being more for pure damage with the right setup. Bye P.S. Also, free bump for a great build. Lvl 83 now, most enjoyable char i've played in quite some time xD EDIT: Oh and BTW, any tips for apex of sacrifice? I'll be soon hitting lvl 20 on arctic armour and i'd like to give Atziri a try. I'm mostly concerned about the trio, because of the high physical damage. Has anyone attempted that place with this build? Last edited by ThePlash#0157 on Jun 5, 2014, 8:57:01 AM

" I have not tried Apex of Sacrifice. The only thing I can suggest is to support Lightning Warp with Faster Casting and Reduced Duration, and make sure you have 30% move speed boots for really high mobility. "so you can see who has more PvPenis" - Chris Wilson

Reasoning behind no power charges?
Adapting this build for HC and can't help but notice no power charges, GC has a nice base crit so you'd get a very large amount of crit from it. And it's not like you aren't right by all of the power charge nodes. IGN: Ghured

I respec 2 full power charges, also changing bandits reward on merci from passive point 2 get next power charge and i can say that was so bad.
Adding power charge on critical sucks, much better option is added lighting dmg and saving 7 points. I try dropp added chaos for increase crit dmg, dmg grow up a lot but with this i die like a pig on reflects. How 2 contact me?
