Heavy Summoner Arc Witch Guide [ Video Included ]

Hey everyone :)

I really like this build so far, exept for bosses.. I can´t for the life of me defeat the act bosses in normal.. I ´m currently stuck on the first encounter with Piety in Act 3 and i cnat progress, at all really :( The build wroks like clockwork on "trash" and random elites/bosses but those encounters murder me.. Nearly giving up here :(
I don't know if this is a mistake or not, but why don't you take Static Blows? It's right by the path you take and only 1 point is required. Great talent if using Arc.

I wanted to make a Summoner Witch one day but this Build here seems to be pretty gear dependent. I'm new to PoE and don't have stuff to trade so I have to run completely self-found. I wonder if such a build can work with the average stuff you find on your way through the levels. Stuff like improving Gem-quality is actualy way over my possibilities, I know the gem that does this costs a fortune.
Getting the right sockets and connections is already pretty hard in PoE, I hope that a summoner Build can be made without heavy gear dependent stuff. ^^"

its not that gear dependet i think.

i'm playing this build right now at 47 and the only item i bought was Sidhebreath (the Amulett)
u get most gems from quest anyways (and to start, you dont really need quality gems)

what i think was really necessary is an item with 3blue links (for your Raise Zombie,Minion Life and Minion Damage) later u can still upgrade to a 4blue +2minion helm... but u cant get that at lower levels anyways.

But as anyone already told, Summon builds seem pretty weak at lower levels.

the next thing i had to get was Spell Totem(you get some from quests in cruel)+Summon Skeletons (so you just need red+blue for the start) then everything changed and i got a lot stronger!

So besides of the Sidhebreath (which i think you dont even need to start this build) i leveled this self found till yet, and feel really safe compared to my marauder.

And you will get some Chaos/Alch etc anyways while leveling, so you can trade some Stuff.


E: oh, now 48.. killed Cruel Vaal with so much ease, i like it :)

Pick up Minion instability, once you get that it gets a lot easier, and then later when you get spell totem with skeletions its easy mode.
Hmm... Should I trade for Sidhebrearth or should I Orb of Chance? How much should I be willing to trade for it?

I bought Sidhebreath for 4 Orbs of Fusing, no idea if that's the usual price.

Thanks VoidMoon! Playing with this build has been a blast all the way from the beginning. Some things I've been wondering: Does the spell damage of the weapon have effect on minion damage and is there a way to find out what your minion damage is?

Shock stacks a pretty nasty dmg buff on the enemies and arc chains to tons of enemys so your summons will do a lot more dmg.

Going to try a few switches in my build and go single totem with LMP freezing pule to try to deal with higher end maps as arcs dmg is ok but you have virtually no time to cast it as is right now with how fast your minions die. Possibly going with freezing pulse with LMP and maybe elemental proficiency or cold pen might be able to get things under control.

Watched ur video and you did the easiest map possible and still your minions died a lot. I'm not saying that minion witches aren't doable, they are just very subpar right now compared to most other class builds. LA rangers, Freezing Pulse witches, and plenty more can solo the harder maps at 3x's the speed. Also like I said you did an easy map. Run the map (forgot name it's the dungeon) with the fire golems and tell me summoned witches are as viable as other classes.
