One note: if you have CI, Pain Attunement will never activate, because with a maximum life of 1, the only way to be at <35% life is to be at 0, i.e. dead.

Oh ok. I didn't research into how Pain Attunement works. Didn't realize it actives once your health goes below 35%. I was assuming its active while your health is low.

Would be very interested to hear how that works out in endgame content compared to chain arc.
I have been trying to get my hands on a chain for a reasonable price but people are asking a fortune for them. Would be cool if fork spark works decently for the build too. Cost is obviously not an issue with fork so nice in that sense.

My current build at level 51.

Im Decimating everything up to end bosses, and then i get completely dominated. My minions dies like flies and the bosses seem to always go for me when i stand back.
Is there anything i can do to rescue my build? I cant even survive piety by running level 10 purity aura. 36 fire, 78 Ice , 55 Lightning resistance.
Piety seems to always target me with fire if im close or lightning if i try to stay away. And i die to a single lightning orb with 1200 hp / 500 es on cruel.

Shock stacks a pretty nasty dmg buff on the enemies and arc chains to tons of enemys so your summons will do a lot more dmg.

Going to try a few switches in my build and go single totem with LMP freezing pule to try to deal with higher end maps as arcs dmg is ok but you have virtually no time to cast it as is right now with how fast your minions die. Possibly going with freezing pulse with LMP and maybe elemental proficiency or cold pen might be able to get things under control.
so is this build any good? the vid looked pretty good but I didn't watch the whole thing, is minion dying in 1-2 hits a problem all the way through?

On quest bosses yes. on trash packs? hell no. This build devastates white/blue/yellow monsters. Bosses with aoes on the other hand is a pita.
If I can get my hands on it I want to try the legendary shield that reflects spells and take the minion talent that gives them my shield stats and see how that works out. Right now farming merciless docks isn't too bad but maps are stupid annoying as packs of caster aoes destroy all minions faster than you can resummon them.

Why do you use minion speed? I never seem to have problems with my minions not running fast enough. Is there some trick I am missing?
Helps with them not getting stuck and it gets them to mobs faster before they go boom. It is really nice to have.
