I cant read if you take the mana or hp by the bandits in normal?
I'm wondering if this is a decent way of getting around the passive tree:

I wanted to pick up Necromantic Aegis to be able to further buff minions in the harder difficulties (though is it worth it to lose the shield stats on myself?). I ended up dipping into Templar territory to get some more health buffs. Am I missing anything obvious going this route and is it viable?

I read his YouTube comments and he took +40 HP in normal and passive points for the rest. The +40 HP works really well with Health passives.
For hardcore mode do you recomend picking up CI?

on what is based the summons dmg ? do they have their own dmg based on lvl of gem and increased by the passives ? and does your wpn matter in any way for the summons dmg ?
Im still hoping to get an answer to my question which is on page 6, would much appreciate it

I'm level 41 with this build, and I did it with damn freezing pulse and shit, no damage notes taken.

Yeah same here. This is what my build looked in the early 40 lvl when I spent skillpoint number 48. I had spent the last 2 points to grab static blows and the other shock talent. Switched over from pulse+faster cast here to spark+lightning penetration+fork.

It's all health nodes pretty much. Continued with the build from this point by grabbing the last 3 life nodes, some resistance and started to pump up the minion life nodes. Am now lvl 52 in merciless act1. Now grabbing all the +minion life nodes.

Some tricks I found which helped with the low damage output was to use fire and conversion trap. Fire trap does solid damage and isn't depending on spellpower ofc.
Also in order to have my minion army up(since I have waited with pumping their life) I have been using 2 flasks with the mod that heals 40ish% life on the minions. Also just spam ressing ofc.

Things die very fast. Firetrap against shocked mobs does nice damage. Also the minions hit pretty hard even without damage passives against shocked mobs. My zombies are linked with life+damage+rare chance drop.

Conversion trap is also a great tool. It lasts around 5 seconds only but that is long enough. When the timer is running out you just recast the trap on the same mob to keep them controlled for long periods of time. Doesn't cost much mana. It isn't worth the hassle on ordinary mobs but taking control of a blue/yellow mob can be nice damage addition.

Ofc this is only act1 but will have gotten some damage for the minions for later acts. And lvls on the gems ofc.
