Heavy Summoner Arc Witch Guide [ Video Included ]
" Hey Snow, I'm curious how you manage to play with ~200 mana. I've got about 300 after clarity + purity and between using arc + resummoning zombies/totem I cant seem to play without having my mana pots constantly on recharge. It's starting to become quite annoying (for some reason I cant stand spamming mana pots in this game). I wonder, do you have the same problem? Or is your mana regen just that much better than mine that it's not much of an issue? Currently have ~70/second. Thanks! |

" I currently run a build similar to snow, 4 auras, two off blood magic and 2 off mana. I have about 700 mana and ~180 mana after auras are up. I picked up two mana regen rings, both around 50%, and that really helped me use faster casting on my arc. my mana regen right now is 98.1/sec. My wand also has 19% mana regen, but that is fairly minimal. |

First i want to thank you for this nice guide.
Level 49 now and only died 2 times ... againts Piety (first encounter A2) and only because I trust i can win the "ARC SHOOT FIRST" duel. I want to add that you shoult repec a few point in the passive tree : the left part used to "rush" Static blow make no sence at the end : you can link left an right path of the build by the middle of the "map" then respec 8 point an go for the better 10%+10 strengh in the templar tree. It's 2% life and 20 strengh "free" (only lose 10% useless spell damage) :) I also like a lot my 8% elemental prolifération and 8% arc gem => cheeper (1 caos each) than chain and you dont ave to get dext node early in the game. " Id say it did, because with it i can stand a good distance away, while my auras still work on them (also helps in partys aswell as i usualy am running most of the auras for my friends). Tough i would not bother going for it, if you are not running eldrich battery. |
|
" Id have to log in to give you the exact numbers of my stuff (at work) but my regen is just a tad over 100 per second, so that probably answers your question. Also, my personal mana isn't 700 - its a bit over that (I believe around 780?) My last post was just to point out how much mana you would need to run 4 auras the way I have it set up with BM. I also spent alot of my time in Merciless having to use mana pots - but you level out of it eventually. Find some rings with Mana regen too - they are great. My mana regen is about 130 with eldrich battery. run 3 auras with reduced mana, still have 500 mana left to spent IGN: PervyMonk

"what auras are you running? cause i am running 6 and i have 550 mana left. the gear im using right now:
Spoiler
some of it is realy bad, especialy the wand :D and don't ask about the spell totem conductivity, im lacking 1 socket right now |

I'm running 5 auras atm: Wrath, Anger, Purity, Discipline, and Vitality. I got away with no Clarity due to stacking mana regen on items that could have it, giving me 122.4 mps with EB. Without EB It's like 50 mps, so I'm figuring out if I'll drop EB to blood magic some auras and add in Clarity.
Is there any way to run Haste short of getting an Astramentis? I'd love to run it but the dex requirement is ludicrous. |
|
" for that you need to invest 2 pasive points in dex (big 1ns) and get gloves and maybe some jewelary with dex, but it is possible |
|
" How does Eldritch Battery give you so much mana regen? Doesnt it only convert energy shield to mana? Or does it also add the shield recharge to mana regen? Edit; stupid me, I should read mana regeneration mechanics :p Last edited by Whakapapa#0843 on Feb 24, 2013, 6:55:24 AM
