Heavy Summoner Arc Witch Guide [ Video Included ]

Not sure what your first 3 are, but I would run Spectre-Minion Life-Minion Dmg-LMP/GMP on 4 sockets. Probably add Faster Casting to a 5th socket, and on 6 sockets, maybe added lightning damage to help with shock stacking, or if they end up not being able to shock then added chaos.

I didn't think I needed minion life because they hardly ever die when running auras and minion health flasks. And by hardly ever I mean never unless on an act boss. I have more instances of fat fingering raising a summon then them dying. I have alleviated that issue by unbinding raise spectre once I have my 4 I want.
I'm still fairly low level with only 1 spectre so I pretty much need Minion Life at this point. But yeah, if you aren't running that, I'd go for Faster Casting.

The only nodes that apply to minion damage are the ones that specifically state it. Fire damage nodes do not help summon damage or even minion instability damage.

I posted in a different summoner topic, but does anyone have any info on the best 4th gem for a spectre? I am choosing between added chaos damage and faster casting speed for my flame sentinels.

This is something I'm struggling with ATM as well. After obtaining my 5 link I'm trying to decide whether I want to run increases attack speed + chaos damage/minion life... Or if I'd rather run increased item quality and rarity. I'm not sure how much of an impact a small increase in "mf" would be but it might be interesting to see if my luck changes at all with drops. My only concern with this is I'm sure with higher maps (highest i've done i think is like 68 or low 70's) the added damage from spectres would be very helpful.

Hello dears,Hello Snowhammer could you link the Rest of your gear?i would Love to see how you have combined the Auras with lesser Mana and blood Magic

Regards

Spoiler

Currently using the gloves for Anger>Wrath>Blood Magic>Reduced Mana

Looking for a good 5L to use for my spectre.

> I have this one:

But I'm using it on my Elemental Wander Templar (which I am playing equally with my summoner) - I feel the 5L is much more powerfull / needed on my Power Siphon Templar than my Summoner.

Pretty Decent Spell Damage wand with Reduced Mana > Purity > Clarity

I love this shield - It's not out of this world or anything, but the +2 Lighting Gems really helps to boost Arc's damage

Of course - still using this

Mostly Just wanted Mana Regen so I could spam better / run 50% reduced regen maps better

Ditto Above

+2 Minions trumps all

None of my gear is great - its just kinda decent.
Lately I've been focused on the gear for my Templar - mostly because he is WAY more gear dependent than my Witch. Thats the beauty of Summoners and this build in general. The gear doesn't matter that much at all - you'll still do very well.

Highest Map levels I've done were 65% Quanity level 74 maps - no problem at all.

EDIT** for some reason I cant link my boots and Belt..
My Boots have Faster Casting / Skellies / Totem / Minion Damage - Silk Ullr Boots 4L

Sorry if I'm gonna ask something stupid XD, but I don't understand the reason for all that increased Health, is it necessary? Is this build meant to be played in HC?

I'm new and playing normal, would u say that's safe to give priority to summons and drop those health passives, also considering that at a later level (as the poster did) one is gonna probably switch to CI?

(btw I'm still lvl 20)

Dieing is a really really bad thing even on Default. You can drop health nodes of course - but I prefer having a big health pool even though I'm not on Hard Core.

Already, at level 78, it hurts ALOT to die (you loose a % of your expirience in that level - somthing like 10-15%? not sure). So - that represents an hour or more of game time.

It gets worse and worse the higher your level. If you died say.. at level 89, your looking at proly 10s of hours of time gone.

well.. then ppl could go for all the minion nodes first and then get health later, when they got almost everything, right?

leveling will be faster then - unless you die a lot
Just wanted to share a modification of this summoner build, im level 79 right now, and it working out realy good. Can solo 72 maps (haven't tried any higher because i haven't found any higher maps yet).

The build, is quite a bit different, i decided to run eldrich battery, as it lets me use 6 auras right now (Clarity, Discipline, Determination, Anger, Wrath, Vitality/Purity) and have 600 mana left.
This build also includes the leadership passive. As i noticed that if i stand further from my minions they don't get any effect from the auras. Which is what you want to do if your fightning a annoying pack of alchemists or a hard hitting boss like brutus.

The full build (for around level 85)

the only problem with this build you may find interesting is that i have 0 dex (i am indeed not using Chain on Arc or GMP on spectres), instead i am planning on using some different gems on the spectre like life on hit(if you get a nice alchemist might as well keep him for a longer time as they have a realy low hp pool) and added ligting damage. For Arc you can shock well enough with faster casting on it.

Do you feel that a non-quality Wrath's radius is good enough once leveled a bir?
Dear Snowhammer im currently towards 60 with my witch and i bought yesterday blood Magic and reduced mana to run more Auras and im Running wrath with clarity and dont have much Mana left for the other 3 you mentioned so i guess i need a Bigger Mana Pool i got around 300 int with approximately 550 Mana ( 300 are directly gone due clarity ) and some Health for wrath - how can you run 5 at once and still habe enough mana for your highest Mana spell ( Mine ist Skellies with totem - Cost about 200 Mana) my Mana reg is Good at this Moment but i guess i need much more Mana to activate the other 3 ) furthermore i saw that you dont use eldritch so im wondering how you Run all Auras at once ;-)
