It's official, devs are satisfied with the overall state of the game

Very well, D2 droprates + duping were perfect.D3 isn't a game, so isn't added. POE is everquest style permanent loot famine. Where 600 hours scraping some wild cherry from the underside of a Brazilian pygmy might potentially give you +1 to some stats, every other sunday while not wearing pants. If you're nice.
Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.

Yeah I guess - even giving in and saying that legit vs not legit - at the end of the day the

supposed
broken economy in D2 was PERFECT - it was utopian for me... and something that to this day has never been replicated.

If the game is fun to play you need not be frightened by your players getting amazing BIS gear. Period. Refute that please.
It's true. You don't make the free to play formula work by making a great game and then limiting 90% of it. You do it by making a great game and then offering another 50% on top of the game. Because people will want to keep playing.

Gated uniques/builds and the focus on items rather than skills is the equivalent of buying time slots in the portable version of Dungeon Keeper.

It sucks.

I'm glad you enjoyed my post. Now go on and keep whining about drop rates.

Peoples who don't trade will always say that the drop rates aren't good enough. Fact.

Here is what would happen if the drop rates were buffed :

1. everyone's gear would be better
2. the game would become much easier
3. peoples would get bored
4. peoples would quit because the game would be too easy for their gear
5. GGG notice the shrinking population due to point 4 and in reaction buffs all the monsters in the game to give the players some challenge back.
6. peoples QQ because their gear isn't on par with the new challenge
7. the devs increase the drop rates to please the whiners
8. Go back to point 1.

Again: if end game was actually good in POE then having players in BIS shouldn't be an issue. If playing the game for the sake of playing the game... that it was actually a fun experience...

Why so frightened by end game and gating people so harshly from completing their builds (6L) or even giving them some decent items? Oh that's right: end game is terrible in POE and they should be afraid for players to leave once they get any gear.

News flash though: players are leaving because they can't get gear.

So message: they need to revisit this item and find a healthy middle ground. I don't care if you agree or not you are just some guy online. And you are totally wrong if you can't find any sense in what I'm saying here. We don't want to be forced to trade for upgrades. We want to find them.

If you find getting a 6l that hard then maybe you're doing something wrong. Do you vendor rares? Do you just wait for a 30+ exalt drop and discard everything else? It's easy to make 10 exalts a week just vendoring trash rares, selling OK rares and doing the chaos/regals recipes. Is 3 weeks too much effort for you to get a 6link or you want all your gear handed on a silver platter?
That sounds like you want people to act like garbage-men. Vacuuming up shit items to potentially get something less shit after a few weeks. That's not playing the game, that's a savings account. But with no actual return on investment.

And I don't mind the 6l being a bit difficult. Say 500 jews/fus difficult. But if I do it once on a character, that needs to be permanent. That way, when I find another item, I don't have to relink it. As I'd rather grind my own leg to a mush of blood and bone then redo that boring lottery.

Let me add a bit of emphasis for you here because clearly you missed my message:

Hope this helps clarify my stance on things for ya, sir.

With all the D2 talk i have seen already in the last few pages wouldnt this be more off topic than GD?

Also, i think its great that GGG doesnt cater to everyone but themselves and the people who support them. Keep it up, GGG. Im not bothered with desync because i know how to handle it.

It´s noticable that about 95% of this ´´make it easier and more loot´´-posts are from people which are not supporters.
The kind of people who just want more, more, more whithout giving anything.
According to the motto ´´All for free and the best for me´´.

I had to chuckle. But it is a fair observation.

neither of you know if it's a fair observation, do you ? i mean in a quantitative way, as opposed to just being your opinion.

i _was_ a supporter, but not happy with the direction i'm seeing, so now, not so much supporting.

how many people are in my situation do you think ?
@Krayken

I noticed something, you play standard league only. A lot of the players here are doing the 4 month leagues. We start with nothing again. We are not playing with a years worth of currency and with BIS gear. Why don't you start playing a 4 month league and see how the drop are now, because it is different from last year when starting over with nothing.

I am. I turned off my supporter tags on my main account and won't drop another penny to GGG until drop/craft rates are set at a reasonable rate of return for time spent playing.

I hope every other person who feels the same - be it desync - or anything else that has been brought to the table (repeatedly in the majority of these cases) as a dissatisfier will also continue to vote NO with their pocketbook.
