FoxTactic's - Righteous Arcer\Surgeon - No update for 1.2

Updated this build with the righteous surgeon changes.
And removed all form of snapshot to make room for the new patch.

Gonna clean it up a bit more and add 2 variations, totem variation and flame surge variation.

NOTE, alot of typos and stats showing wrong, ill update the pics soon :D, its 96% fire res, not 95%

Been looking into one making this, and my question is that if I start out with the lightning ninja, how would you recommend me to progress through the skill tree?

Hey man! Great build, been playing it for a while now. I'm at level 86 right now and I just wanted to point out one thing from your last update on the tree. I find that what you have set up is extremely point reliant. From what I can see, for that tree to be viable you would need to be level 94 to gain a benefit from running the extra aura (haste in this case). If you are lower you would have to sacrifice way to much damage and survivablity to get the other reduced mana reserve nodes.

I still have my gear set up for snapshotting, but the concept remains the same between the two setups.

9.1k Arc DPS (level 19 gems, level 2 empower)
13.4k Flame Surge DPS (level 18 gems)
DPS with 23/36 RF up.

now i saw your overworked build in stream yesterday without snapshots it looks much squisher as you run artic armor on life

my question is why do you run artic armor on life is clarity not enough anymore to support enough mana regen?

And why you dont run clairity on life so you can run artic armor on mana?

And one more question i need to choose between exaltons detonate death and yours as the two builds (life version) seem to require almost indentical gear
so im curious what you would say if you where asked who is faster in clearspeed, who is tankier and who is better against solo bosses for example atzriti/uber atzriti.

I haven´t been on his stream in the last days, but I run AA still on Mana and the non-snapshot version is completely the same for me except a bit for single target dps. What you describe (again i wasnt on his stream) sounds more like experimental phase (which Fox does a lot :P) so just run AA on mana like before, then you won´t feel a difference compared to non snapshot build.

For your second question, i can´t say anything about DD builds, what i can say is that I have never had or seen a faster clearspeed than this build... 78 maps, Atziri, no problem at all and i doubt there is anything that can come close to this insane clearspeed (again even if i remove my empower gem completely i clear insanely fast 77/78 maps, meaning 2,3,4k more dps is barely noticable).

u cant run AA on life lol. its literally impossible. you must've been confusing his RF degen or something for it.

i saw a heavy life degen but i didnt know what it was.
did he permanently switched to setup where he loses constantly life due to righteous fire?

Am i missing something? whats the point of rf and flame surge, you only used arc for the uber atziri kill.

The past 10 kills ive used flame surge for my uber kills. There are videos of it, ill post them on my thread instead, sry.

1, The only thing that has changed between my Snapshot version and my non snapshot version is a bit less dps on arc due to the reduced lvl on righteous fire from staff, and ofc lower dps on flame surge due to it being in a 3L now instead. "It's in my shield atm".

2, What you are seing on my stream is me testing out bloodrage =D. I dont degen from RF, not even close, i think i have about 50-100 extra effective life reg if i dont run blood rage. The 4 frenzy charges i get from BR is 20% castspeed which helps me map clear speed quite noticable.

3, You can't run arctic armour on life, not even with bloodmagic gem or passive, its impossible it wont work. = I still run AA on mana.

4, No clarity is just fine. I dont degen on my mana.

EDIT: One of my biggest wishes is that you COULD run AA on life, it would be pretty awesome to do a fullfledged blood mage. But thats not possible =\
