I disagree with most of the OP. (and I still enjoy PoE!)

OP looks like guide "How to be a loser in PoE". All points aparat from desync are pure whine "if I can't and don't want to learn how to means everyone can't".


In you check hardcore or invasion ladders, you will see thousands of level 70+ players.

Rogue exiles - just wow, such challenge. Half of them die from 2 hits.

Why trading is time consuming? Setting proper filters and contacting seller is like 3 minutes. Getting currency to pay is time consuming, not trading.

Dont follow other peopple's "guides" for char builds.

Do not waste time "farming" because you'll find yourself wasting hundreds of hours with basically nothing to show for it except tons of common skill gems that are either not worth having due to nerfs or not being strong enough to actually be useful at high levels.

Did OP really tried to farm for hundreds of hours?
If yes, why he is talking about some people having no job/life?
If no, how does he know the result? He is sort of prophet?
I don't have patience to farm for more than hour or two a day, but simple math tells that farming Piety for hundres of hours will give you 20+ exalted orbs only from vendoring rares, leave alone any uniques or good items that can be sold to players.

I honestly wanted to paste that 'we got a badass over here' picture, but then I realized it would be too much of a bother.

I also wanted to congratulate you for missing his point but you are hardly the first to do it, and you know, if you get congratulated after a certain position in the race it sounds sarcastic.

btw for OP's playstyle Diablo III is a much much better game, and it's not even close. Why playing PoE then?

I said you would drop stuff over the course of an hour to improve or build your wealth.

He said you will never drop a particular item, but you will drop something else.

In essence this agrees with the second part of my post.

I know very well how difficult it is to drop a particular item in this game :-(

My apology, was reading another thread while trying to reply here, and I read yours "improve your character and your build".

Nevertheless, saying something that would improve your character or build up your wealth happens many times over an hour... Sure, maybe those 1 Alchemy leveling items that you have nowhere to sell at, chat is useless and setting them to a shop, putting buyouts and then do the trade for a 1 Alchemy is actually a process of lowering your wealth.
