all survival stuff with only basic offensive skills.
i think gears are more important on this build.

So Krip says in the intro of this thread that his AoE was 1.4k dmg, this is only power siphon dmg in town? without all auras and stuffs?

I mean, I am currently 750 dps in town, like 1300dps with my auras, and almost 2.2k with auras+ powercharges ...

2.2k is very garbage and I cant manage to solo act3... and in party I dont even scratch mobs while other players just make them sleep in 2~3 shoots (in party) they prob 1shoot all solo ...

so this is my concern, what is a good dps to solo act3? is it possible to get that dps with this build or this is more of a team party build? (I know its very helpfull to use the auras in party, but I was considering that I would solo merc act3 easy)

yes, I need to manage and get better items, and I am doing it very slowly, since it is my first char and it is very difficulty to afford good items without those damn exalts ...

should I re roll and try another less gear dependant? or I will have low dps whatever the build I try? are duals totem cheaper? are freezing pulse cheaper? will I solo easy a3 with cheap gear in other builds?

Seems to me like you're not using Multiple Projectiles + Chain, both of which have massive Tooltip dps decreases, but massive aoe dps increases. I'm currently only at 258 dps in town, which is around 600 with auras and ~850 with power charges. With these numbers, I absolutely destroy everything in act 3 and lower level maps.

Dps isn't the main thing to consider when you want to solo act 3, survivability is. You need to get a lot of life, you need to cap those resistances and you need at least some armor and a good Granite flask or two.

Personally I don't really like "quitting" on a character, so I would never recommend abandoning it to make another "easier" or "cheaper" build. Rather than making a new character, I would say try farming one of the easier zones in act 3 (City of Sarn as an example) to get some more levels and maybe some good pieces of gear. Then try to push for progression when you feel you're ready to do so.

Oh Ok, I have no 5 link chest yet, so using Power Siphon + LMP + WE dmg + Add Fire, can not afford any 5 link since everyone pays many many exalts lol and seems my items never worth even a chaos ...

I am lvl70 have around 2k life, kinda 20~30+ res, ...

And yes I am very fragile and have to kite a lot, but I cant even complete the first quest of act3 solo, but I can farm felshrine ruins, did a few runs but no rares os orbs drop then I got bored lol ...

Yea I rly do not want to quit this one, and you post really encourage me to continue on this one, maybe I need another green to add Chain/Fork instead of Add Fire like, so things can be easier ...

would it help? 4L GGRB? since I can not afford any 5L

I think it would help a lot yes, added fire does very little for this build because we do very low physical damage. The only thing you would be missing out on, is Life Leech, which obviously helps a lot, but isn't absolutely necessary.
