[Official] Kripp Wand Templar
hey guys,
im looking for some feedback on my wander since i feel like my dps is quite low for my lvl. hopefully one of the more experienced wanders here can give me some tips on how to improve my overall dps. current gear:
Spoiler
im lv74 and at 3.2k hp, 2.2k mana, resis almost capped (like 70%ish), 1.8k armor, 3.5k evasion and "only" ~3k single target dps and 600dps AOE using gmp with 4charges. ive been looking for a better wand and a % elemental damage belt but didnt find one yet (for a fair price..). the only remaining thing i can imagine to boost my dps are rings with +raw elemental damage, but i feel like i need the accuracy on mine and didnt got any equivalent ones with ele dmg on it. any suggestions? I got to level 67... Struggling with mana, hardly running 5 auras. Seriously undergeared but at least I can farm The Docks..
Also.. I have -60% Chaos resist. Any tips? Last edited by Zoxjib#5083 on Feb 15, 2013, 9:14:56 PM

You shouldn't be only really stacking +life/mana/acc
You need more ES on your gear imho, assuming you've taken Eldritch Battery. I wonder, given your lack thereof, if you're able to run enough auras to make this build worthwhile if you replace the +mana mods. Stack +lightning dmg, maybe run a conductivity instead of LW, and make use of the shock setup. Wake of destruction boots, while a bit noobish, are probably an easy damage source if you're going cheap. You can run crit flasks and not worry as much about the +life/mana, thereby freeing up modifiers for +ele dmg. Note: Spell damage % mods are useless for PS -- you want the hard additives like "1-55 Lightning Damage". You can also use LMP in lieu of GMP, as it's usually in better use. I rarely find myself having enough on the screen to hit a GMP'd PS more than 2 times before half the screen is gone anyways. I would start with your belt, your shield, and your jewelry. |

" Easiest fix is making sure you got Eldritch Battery then stacking a bit of ES. I'm able to run 6 auras comfortably without much gear following this. Currently not having surv issues in Merc, for what it's worth. |

Here's all of my current gear, some of it is bad, some of it is completely terrible:
What, other than my gloves, should I replace asap? :x |

" start with gloves, shield, chest then jewellery. Too little utility coming from those 2 item imo. IGN: @McDeliveryOnFlurry - Legacy Softcore add me if i win or if my bids are lower than c/o Last edited by xiaozozo#2448 on Feb 15, 2013, 9:25:24 PM

" spend those currencies you have stocked up. Chromatics, alterations, jewellers etc. you should be able to get some decent dmg rings, and decent +max life items with resists on gears. Try to avoid +movement speed, or +chaos resists if you cannot afford them. Farming at docks just require fire and cold resists. Get at least 4L on your items, and link reduced mana gems with your aura gems (reduce mana are obtained from the quests you completed). Are your auras being levelled? Make sure you do, dont stop levelling them. Anger and Wrath are good sources of dmg, if you can afford to run haste, it would be better IGN:

" Wow i didn't notice that precision was added during step 6, well thanks for the help, really appreciate it, i just get pissed when i come to the forums for help but instead of giving suggestions people would just scold each other. HC ign : AiiDuuVTwo / TwoErectedPenises / AnalRapeMarauder
