[Official] Kripp Wand Templar

i went with this build from day 1 with wand

ill tell you right now.. dont do it haha i was basically useless and a leech to my party until lvl 50 wen i got some gems/gear


but right now there is more gear/gems available so i guess its doable

Well you're not supposed to use wands until like 50+

I'm 42 and still struggling. I'm not exactly sure what happens around 45-50 that makes this build better? I've followed the passive points but I'm not sure what I have to equip to get the best results.

So far I have 1100 hp, 100 energy shield, around 500 mana (of which close to 300 is reserved to Wrath, Anger and Clarity) and I'm mostly using PS with Crit Dmg and Weapon Ele Dmg, that deals around 300dps...

After getting to step 9, is the next step getting increased buff effect?

My attempt at this build died at level 25. I was doing little to no damage at all, in addition to the constant lack of mana so I wasn't even able to spam Glacial Hammer or Ground Slam.

Will prolly give it another go. Would really like trying a higher level of this build.

playing witch with a very similar build, lvl 63 now

leveling has been a breeze but it's not my first character, i had some starting items, like at lvl 27 i used a +55 elemental damage wand (far more damage than normal for that level) and i used elemental hit since level 19


i have two questions

1) i really don't understand why elemental hit isn't used as the single target attack, power siphon doesn't add much damage;
i really don't get it, am i missing somthing about poewr siphon?
i know you would need some dexterity nodes but they're right there

2) why not take those power charge duration nodes? i think the extra seconds make a huge difference in keeping the power charges up almost constantly, but then again maybe you can do it without them, i don't really know as i haven't gotten to the late game maps yet

OK, at level 43 now with Eldrich Battery, 4 auras running and a bit more dps via rings and amulet with Lightning/Cold damage. This slowly becomes playable. :P

Question: I'm having problem wearing new gear because the build doesn't really use any passive Dexterity nodes. Any tips?

QN: How is this build's AOE as compared to those dual totem builds? I'd like to farm maps with quick and high aoe skills that are able to clear map fast.

I wonder if this is a good build to the above or not.

Pick up the 30 dex nodes until you can run without em, then just spec out of them.
