You get all your ES from the shield and the boots, yes. The reason why you get over 500ES with those 2 are all the "increased defences from shield" and a couple of "increased ES" nodes, which give you more ES than Aegis actually gives by itself.

Yes. You're using the same gem twice in your Ice Crash setup :D (weapon elemental damage)

Hey Serge, loving your build so far. Here are my current items, my char is lvl 66 and nearly ready for mapping.
What do you think should i upgrade next(besides the rings, i will change them asap).
Should i keep my shield (and safe for an aegis aurora) or swap it for a lionseye remorse?
Do i even need doryanis if i use earthquake and dont use added fire damage yet?

Save for aegis, no need to upgrade anything before that. You might try and buy a better weapon, though.

Keep the defensive setups as they are and pick up slots for jewels, where you put in some offensive jewels (like brutal crimson jewel of combat or the same with a rare jewel).
Wouldnt you safe skill points and increase your damage if you use a physical skill like earthquake?

You could absolutely try, and you might maybe get a bit more DPS, but it would be difficult to pull off IMO, as you'd need a high-DPS Varunastra and additional passives (which means you'd have to lose something).

I edited my original post as I just got aegis.

So far is doing ok.. I'm 83, t7-8 maps with no prob.. but I stil cant tank all bosses:/ something must be wrong..?!

Here is my gear, which needs small improvements. I got quite lucky with the armor roll. I'm hoping it will get to 2k armour after a few divines.
In town stats are: ~22k Earthquake/ 4.7k Hp/ 10.5k armour/ 45% dmg red/ 160+ all res/55% ctb/40% spell block.




I've been reading a lot but there are 90+ pages..so these questions might haev been already asked and I apologies.

1. What I'm actually interested in is what gems is worth getting quality on? could you add this next to the gem section please?

2. In your videos you use Ice crash that can get a boost in dmg by using CE gem, and here I'm talking about end game maps/Atziri. Could another dmg gem like added chaos/light replace IAO?
How about using multistrike + weap elem dmg instead of CE+IAO?

3. How much dps a rare mace should have to outperform the 300+dps + 100% elem dmg from doryani? Obviously not referring to mirrored ones here.

4. Rainbowstride seems like a big trade of life/armour for spell block. As your passive tree is made for lvl 92. After this is it viable to spend 2 points and take a gem slot for Reckless Defence replacing the boots with rares, or are there better passives that outperform this? ( like those small nods of 4%life/8%armour/ etc)

5. How do you keep the golemn alive? Mine dies in a few seconds. So most of the times I find myself playing without as I need to cast it non stop.

6. You've mentioned CWDT is not worth linking to IC anymore. Would it work to level it so it activates only when you take a huge hit? This way charges will be up most of the time. I sometimes find myself dying because IC doesn't cast
