made a tree that goes to the dex area instead of the templar area so that I can run faster attack and grace without the need of dex gear, the tree only goes to lv85...do you think this is also viable?

In general, it seems fine, you went for a bit more DPS nodes, a bit less HP nodes. That's your choice, if you prefer that playstyle more.

However, the thing you're missing out on is Elemental Adaptation, which is one of the best nodes for tanks in general. Of course, that doesn't mean your version is bad, it will just be a bit more prone to elemental damage in general, and a bit less tanky overall cause of less HP.

got this for 24c, it has 285 pDPS(about the same pDPS as your wep, but is slower and harder hitting so I can life leech better)...do you think I paid a fair price? can I reach low level mapping with it?

That is a nice deal, imo, gratz! That amount of DPS is pretty suited for maps, yes. Especially low level maps!

Also, a good thing with maces, you can just swap to Glacial Hammer instead of Infernal Blow on elemental reflect maps, cause the only problem with ele reflect and IB is the explosion (glacial hammer has no explosion, so its a safe alternative for mace-users).

Managed to fuse a 6L Astral, so I updated the post with the new gear. Also, updated several versions of the passive tree.

Hi, I'm currently playing on standard, level 87. 1st of all I'd like to say it's a very nice build, it's my second tank already - used to play FB and then an armed infernal blow BOR AA tank couple updates before when I could run more auras than now :) I got demotivated because I lost lots of dps and defensive stats, but now when marauder's tree has been buffed I'm back with the same character after full passive reset :)

I'm using warlord's mark and clarity aura and a hybrid flask, so I don't suffer mana problems and life leech is good for survivability. Running tempest shield and hatred on mana.

Like this i have 14,5k dps, 7777 armour and 2184 evasion rating. I'm thinking of getting aegis aurora and here are my worries. I'm gonna lose around 3,5k of armour after switching the shield to AA, so I think I would have to go for iron reflexes to cover the armour gap needed for replenishing the ES. It will cost me 5 passive points to get IR (gonna respec diamond flesh, +10 dex and meele damage [1st starting marauder point]).

My first question is: is it possible to get around 2-2,5k armour with 5 passive points after swtiching to AA so I wouldn't have to take Iron Reflexes?

And the second one: I'm hesitating whether to buy 2% or 4% AA. 1st one is 10exa 2nd one is 20exa. Still got 11ex in the bank for now. Basically I'm going to have 7k armour max, and granite flask up all the time due to warlord's mark. What would you do if you were in my spot?

What's more - I died to map dominus twice with the current setup, that's worrying. I don't know how that happened, seemend to be a desync. I had a topaz flask up tho... I hope it's gonna change after getting AA
