I dont use dual totems, only have 1 ice spear totem.
Hi Prozon, I love your build and I was building a similar hc templar paladin/battlemage kind of character and after finding your similar build from the hc ladder I was actually confident it can do well in hc.

I have two small questions

1) Are Zombies necessary for the build? At first I wasn't going to end up using them and they sound extremely tempting as extra damage and cannon fodder. I was going to go instead for more elemental damage passives.

2) What do you suggest choosing for bandits.
Bandits are told in the OP post, check it.

For minions, he said in the previous post that he used then around lvl 50-55, (casted some for bosses) but did not really cared about them till then.

Ah ok, checked out the Bandits comment in the OP post, seems that I missed it.

About the Zombies, my question was not intended for the before lvl50-55, but was actually asking how the grow in importance now that he is at 80+ and if they are being powerful enough for him right now.

Answered the question myself I think, after checking him out on twitch, Zombies are quiet useful.
Yeah they do a great meat shield, great for Hardcore.

Still, i don't know if I would bother using them in softcore. Don't know if it's worth it.

The zombies are very useful for staying alive and they do quiet abit of damage wich is nice on bosses as my single target dps is quiet low without them. Though they are not needed at all. way back in Closed Beta on my first templar i had a very similar build to now just without the Minions. So you can do without them and invest those minion points in some more ele dmg or critt nodes.

One of the bigger reasons why i do use the zombies is because they help ALOT against desync/lagg etc, Ive died to many times to that on HC so i will keep my zombies around until its fixed.
Is there any reason in particular you chose Freezing Pulse over shock or arc when your build has direct access to Static Blows?
I was wondering if you'd suggest picking up some of the +30 Dexterity nodes (besides the one you do pick up) in lieu of trying to find gear with +Dexterity on it?
I get a GMP. I put on Freezing pulse, but the mana is eating me... I try on Ice spear, but summoner the totem is near 200 mana...
Do you think is better on freezing pulse or on ice spear if you only have 1 GMP?

Lost in Necropolis...
Trying this build, currently at level 37. One thing I notice is, fireball seems to do a ton more single target damage than Ice Spear, or Freezing Pulse. Now granted, I know I can get more projectiles out of Spear/Pulse with LMP or GMP, but I can nail 2-3 mobs dead from across the map with fireball, something I cannot do with Spear/Pulse. Any ideas why fireball is not a viable option as part of this build?
