How to use gems with use dexterity?For example lesser multiple projectiles?

didnt you list all the abilities to use in the main post? what should i use exept lighting strike? what kind of auras?

when do you guys suggest using BM ?

Couple of critiques etc.

• Why do you not sacrifice 10 str for the Bloodless passive? It saves a lot of time on mobs that can leech life and gimp almost every build in PvP.like this:Passive skill tree build
  

• You might want to consider something to do with Galvanic Hammer since its a passive desinged for this kind of phsy/ele conversion mace build.
  

• Because you are using Lightning Strike, a projectile attack, you might want to consider also using the Iron Grip keystone passive
  

• You might want to consider taking endurance charges if you intend on tanking stuff, or at least to have more damage reduction against archers.
  

• "Because this build uses Blood Magic, we must have as low Intelligence as possible." You wont be able to use Wrath aura( or any other blue skills or supports for that matter), which adds a lot of lightning damage and this build benefits a lot from it.
  

• Another passive problem is your dexterity, you wont be able to use LMP which is the best support for lightning strike unless you stack A LOT of dex on gear.
  

• You have no chaos resistance nodes.
  

• Lastly i would ask(i'm not trying to be rude): but you say its a GOD build, how far in level is this build tested to actually prove that is "immortal" as it were?

Strength gear w/ red sockets is pretty much the only thing you can use. Fork/Chain/Multiple Projectiles is pretty much offlimits unless you can somehow get lots of DEX on your gear or tons of +all attributes.

Haven't tested it (going to though:) but by the looks of it Astramentis would be BIS amulet for this build. It would give a lot more flexibility with gear and support gems.

Currently level 54 here and this build is very reliable.
I am currently running 4L LS and 4L GH. What do you use for skill and support gems (perhaps, recommendations)? There are 3L, 4L, 3L, 4L, 4L that can be filled (since I already have 2 x 4L reserved). 5 to 6L (I've yet to see 6L) on chest is another option. Not sure what other gem I can put there but wondering. Thanks for writing this!

Thanks for the build! I had tried a few iterations of LS Templar, but this helps clear up where I went wrong (elemental damage instead of physical) and is sort of the definitive guide on the skill.

My version uses Leap Slam instead of Glacial Hammer (just because it is fun and works with LS surprisingly well). Molten Shell, Enduring Cry, and Rjuv Totem for tankiness. Running Wrath Aura.

Currently in Act2 Cruel and close to picking up Blood Magic, but am trying to get Orbs of Fusing to roll my way so I can add Life on Hit first. With the Unique mesh boots that adds 1-150 lightning damage my current dps for LS is at 1k (higher than any of my alts at this level).

1.I haven't got big need for that rune just yet. Might want to change it later if you like PVP much but to take that only because it would kill faster Life Leech mobs isn't clever.

2. We have numerous calculations in this thread ( if people just would scroll a little bit down ) suggesting from different guys that the benefit you get from Iron Grip is very minimal + the waste of points is tremendous to get in there. Calculations show that Shock is more effective than Iron Grip and Iron Grip isn't worth taking.

3. Enduring Cry is enough at this moment and I think it will be enough as maintaining up more than 3 charges wouldn't relax you at all.

4. Auras are not mandatory & I left this open for those who really want to use auras. Right now I'm experimenting but I have insufficient gems I need.

5. Alot dexterity is not needed, you get the points either from gear ( easiest way to go for Onyx amulet and buff it up) or invest on 20+ Dexterity node if you want to use specific skill but not being able to use it due to limitations.

6. Many build hasn't got chaos resistance either and we don't actually need it. +If you get chaos resistance on your shield, it would be buffed alot with our passive nodes.

7. Right now +70 level, follower of the guide.

8. I do not write everything and explain everything on my guide. I made it for others to get inspiration from, adapt it and use your own ideas. My first build posted in this thread was just with Pros & Cons explanations, nothing else. People ask so many questions that I had to post some insight in there because either they are lazy to get the information or something else.

Hi, seems many have contributed to the posts.
Just wanna share, lvl 62 now, doin Merciless act3.
Have to admit ACT3 some maps not soloable anymore.
But if you know any class who can solo map his same level, thats impressive.
But probably only after gathering a set of Uber awesome gears.
Possible only on an alt.

But i experience the build allows me to survive in areas some class dont.
although have to admit my damage is just average, at level 62 LS dps is 2.4k
Glacial Strike 3k. Got this only after searching and searching for a good 1 hand mace.
I did need a int necky to use the weapon.

Chaos resist is negative 35. SO the snakes and the poison bombers are a big problem.
Im not worried coz i see the rangers and the mages drop like flies.
so its fun lol.

Still, I do can solo DOcks, so will be farming it over and over, hope to get good drops.
