A little more tanky. Then I saw your thread and started reading and wondered what you would think about that idea. I'm just wondering if I would be too lazy to cast curses on every pack of mobs. Usually I just wade right in and wail away right off the bat. :) |

" Temporal chains was my 3rd curse, which is much better than it sounds like. As it slows 42% currently, it effects not only their movement, but attack/animation speed for casting etc. It allows easy kiting/circling (vs Brutus on L72+ maps) for example, and slows down those ADHD chaos worms you occasionally get. :) Curses are very powerful vs magic/rare/unique monsters. I don't necessarely cast those out vs single normal trash. But curses cast real quick... specially with the +1 curse talent, since you'll be picking +26% casting speed or something like that before you can fetch it. :) If I'd be playing hardcore, I would run 1h+shield + life leech myself, I'd guess... but still I'd keep the 3 curses. Erf... was driving 300km trip last night to get to the god damn village where I attend school at. Well, my car's water pump decided to broke down in middle of the night and I was forced to stay a night at a hotel. Luckily, my insurance covered towing + hotel. Also got rather lucky that they managed to fix it the next morning. 568 euros to pay for the repairs though. Hooray for the student loans. -_-

Hi Nocebo,
Just wanted to thank you for this great build--definitely my favorite character so far. Mass debuffing combined with 2hander melee suits my playstyle perfectly. It is also nice in that it is a rare build and will probably stay that way as it is rather complicated to play compared to most other builds. To make myself even more unusual, I went duelist. Possibly Templar or Marauder are better overall, but the difference is small. Level 51 now and just starting to ramp up the curses. Cheers for the very helpful guide! |

O and one interesting bit I might add.
I have on several occasional gotten complaints from minion masters in random grouping: "who the %#+$ is blowing up all the corpses!" Often they leave the group after a while, which I do not mind at all because tons of minions running around ruins my enjoyment of multiplayer. Cannot see anything. So do be aware that this build is like hay fever to Necrophliacs. |
