[0.10.4b] Bow Marauder (The Shocker (tm)) [**TO BE UPDATED SOON 1.0.0**]

What are you thoughts on trading that Life Leech for Culling Strike in the 1v1 skill?

It's great for finishing off bosses and the skill cost can be covered by potions and natural regen.

I'm not sure how effective life leech actually is since I haven't used mine though.

I have thought about it, and what I have found is that vs most non-act boss special enemies (basically everything except maybe Krole and special golems) I already do 10% per hit so I'd kill them anyway. Even someone like Krole dies VERY quickly if distracted by a totem so I can just unload on him. Keep in mind my DPS has increased since then, but even the General for "sever the right hand" that people often complain is too tanky, died to me before he finished killing my totem.

I have, on the other hand, thought about using my on switch weapon to just be a wand with power siphon or something to finish off act bosses.

Vs trash mobs though it would be pretty stupid. My single target attack already 1 or 2 shots regular mobs, so no point in having culling in it for that.
Also, about the passive tree, isn't it that they reset the passive trees of players when passive tree changes are made? It makes sense as well. So allocating points is therefore not a waste. Unless of course they are going to keep our trees as they are, and make changes - which doesn't make much sense...?
Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.
Considering how (rightfully) resistant the Devs are to giving full respecs, I would be shocked if they will give everyone a full respec if all they do is tweak the % on a few nodes in one cluster/area. I could see having something like if you are within 10 nodes of the nodes that changed and log in within 2 days of the change you get x free respec points, but the long short of it is no one knows.

Considering how many builds never even go near the duelist area it would really just be a complete grab-bag full respec for a lot of builds, and I just don't see them doing that unless it is a far bigger change to actual tree structure than I am envisioning.
That's what I was aiming at, but I don't know. We shall see, anyway. Running a fresh character is not hard, especially when you have all the gear ready from the "old" one.

Well thats why I said to stockpile respecs, and said you might as well spend at 48 :p

Even if they give you a handful of respecs, who knows how many you would want/need, so best to just best to keep off on major revisions for the time being.

And stockpiling regrets might be cool, cause depending on how they do implement it, they might spike in value.

But as you said, as long as you keep a decent gear progression and don't sell everything the instant you out level it, 2nd time is always easier.
Going to be the next build I try, look's/sound's fun! Thank you for sharing

How important is taking Unwavering Stance to protect from stuns, especially in endgame? I'm close to level 50, near the end of A2 Cruel and haven't noticed getting stunned all that much yet. Would it be worthwhile to skip Unwavering Stance and maybe Iron Reflexes too, and maybe take Arrow Dodging instead to take advantage of the higher evasion? Or will being unstunnable become more important later on?

thanks for any feedback!

Basically it depends on the size of your HP pool. The higher your HP, the less you get stunned. However for this build, getting US also means getting the handy Berserk node, and overall it doesn't cost much (the build would dip into the south-east section of the passive tree either way). What it means is that in a crucial moment when it really matters, you will be protected from something that might have otherwise killed you. That is my logic behind taking it.

Stun mechanics!

ShadowyDream, Venator, thanks for the input! and for the explanation of stun mechanics - I'd been wondering how exactly stuns worked.

No problem, glad I could help.

in the op, Venator said to link up faster attacks if you have a 6 link. My question is, why faster attacks, and not chain?
