Did you really read the whole thing?

You make a transition out of BM passive to the gems in late-game. When having the passive you can't run %based auras because that would cost you way too much life.

Instead you get rid of the passive, use your mana for running auras (solely that is) and link your attacks to a BM gem, to make them use health instead of mana (because you have no mana left to cast after activating all the auras).

That's it.

but why are you switching from grace to purity at endgame?

and you're un-specing from the 2 diamond skin nodes (+15% ele resists each)???

Then you complicate things by taking up precious socket space with BM gem for both our AOE and boss attacks. (1 each)

WHY Is Purity worth all this trouble?!

The max resistance you get from purity is extremely good, because of the way damage reduce is calculated. If you go from 80 all res to 84 all res (max purity gives 4 max res), you will actually reduce elemental damage taken by a whopping 20%. This also helps a lot with reflect mobs.

You got Inner Force - Purity will give 5% max res. Might not seem like much, but it is.

EDIT: the two diamond skin nodes are made up for by 35% resistance on Purity (27*1.3); and the Blood Magic gems do not Really have a drawback. When it comes to resistances, by endgame you should usually be quite overcapped just with gear, so removing the Diamond Skin is not a problem.

Quick feedback here : I've been running a quite similar build without checking the forums first. I tried to make an Iron Grip/full strength bow marauder but around lvl 50 my dps was still too low. I decided to reroll a bow marauder with lots of ele dmg and frenzy charges, and I have to say it's quite nasty. Now I'm 77 and with Chain/LMP/LA/WED/LoH I deal crazy amount of damage and my HPs are going full nearly as fast as I may lose some. With all my auras and frenzy charges on, my frenzy can deal ~5k dps for now so it's really good, and I never had to spend a single GCP for my gear or my gems. Very nice build.

Hey Venator!

I don't know if you remember me, but I've been a fan of your version of this build for quite some time. I did quite a few adaptions of my own during close beta and i had a lot of fun experimenting with that.

Which is why i decided to give this another go now. However, i do have a few questions if you wouldn't mind!

(I'll give them numbers to make it easier to respond to!)

1. My main interest about this build is if it would be beneficial to spend a few more points for Reduced Mana Reserved to be able to run an extra one or even two auras. (Like Determination and Vitality) I really liked having these two auras while playing my EK marauder and would like to see them included in future builds.

2. With the previous question in mind, changes would have to be made to blood magic and the gem setup, how would this affect the overall build in your opinion? Would you lose too much dps for that extra aura perhaps? Or would something else suffer? (Realistically speaking, anyone should be able to get their hands on a 5L)

3. What mobs or map mods have you had the biggest issue with? What's been challenging or even impossible?

Combined Evasion+Armour gear would be the best bet, followed by Evasion gear, and lastly Armour gear.
