[0.10.4b] Bow Marauder (The Shocker (tm)) [**TO BE UPDATED SOON 1.0.0**]
" In all honesty I'm not sure I remember. So many things keep going on with PoE that it is hard to keep track of everything... 1. It would not be beneficial, because you would have to spend about 15 points to run two more 40% auras; and if you want Determination and Vitality, it would be far cheaper to just invest 3 points in Steel Skin ring, and grab a few of those 0.4% regen nodes. This is why I kicked those auras out; whoever wants them can still get the bonuses through this manner. 2. Changes do not need to be made on Blood Magic; the endgame builds posted both use Blood Magic support gems. The player has the option to take the keystone though, and that means being able to link Chain/FA instead of BM, and Purity has to be switched for Grace. Since I do not miss the DPS addition from Chain, I went for Purity and ditched Grace. 3. The hard mobs for me are usually Elemental Resist and Hexproof ones, because they take longer to kill which annoys me, and I pretty much hate Haste+Increased physical damage packs. Map mods wise; I've had the worst time with lowered elemental resistances. I haven't done many maps in OB, only a couple of the low level ones, so I cannot say much about this. Yesterday I've started playing HC with two friends, to see how it would go. I reached lvl37; and my friend got crit slammed by Kole before Piety. Kind of a bummer. Personally the lag issues annoy me a lot, but I'm alive and entered Cruel. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

can you show your gear :$?

" you can overcome merciless -60% ele resist penalty and still be overcapped from gear at endgame?! cant wait to see what kind of gear drops in merciless. back to my original question: since we're swapping out Grace for purity, there's no need to get Iron reflexes? thus you can stop at Diamond skin/frenzy nodes in duelist tree and save some points from traveling to the ranger tree. You can get the easy +8% health nodes and +ele dmg nodes in Templar. going to build a tree to test out my theory. edit: Nevermind. i tried. can only use up 88 points if i take all the health and +ele dmg nodes on the left side of the tree. 88 point Build w/Purity but never taking IR (+219% life, +91% ele dmg): to spend to 103 points like Venator's build, i have to goto the Ranger tree. my 103 point build keeping Blood Magic/Grace (+179% life, +121% ele dmg, +31% projectile dmg):
If i'm overcapped on ele resistances by endgame, i'll unspec from Diamond skin nodes and get +8% movement and +8% chaos resist. What do you think of my 103 point endgame build? Last edited by Pi314#5955 on Feb 25, 2013, 10:58:10 AM

" I would personally change it to this, but your version can work too. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

" removing the +ele dmg of celestrial walker/elementalist (8 points): -40% ele dmg removing +4% evasion per Frenzy charges (1 point): less armor adding inner force (5points): +30% on my anger, wrath and grace auras adding +9% attack speed: 4points +30% anger/wrath and +9% attack speed gives more DPS than +40% ele dmg? And how much more? Last edited by Pi314#5955 on Feb 25, 2013, 3:06:36 PM

Great build so far!
I'm playing on HC and made it to mericless. Trying to determine if I should pick the frenzy charge or passive from the bandit quest. I have taken +40 and skill point so far. Any suggestions? |

" If you're using Frenzy as your single attack skill like I am, absolutely take the extra Frenzy Charge. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

" Not only does it match to the 40% elemental, but it also increases your Evasion (AKA Armour) a ton, gives you movement speed (works on Quicksilvers), gives you more armour (works on Granites), and last it buffs your DPS a Lot, probably matching up to the 40% elemental damage nodes. Overall, a safe and solid investment. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.
