[0.10.4b] Bow Marauder (The Shocker (tm)) [**TO BE UPDATED SOON 1.0.0**]

What are your thoughts on Added Fire Damage linked to Frenzy?

I've noticed that, even with Elemental Damage passives, Frenzy itself still largely does around 50% physical. Would Added Fire, which is then modified by the EDamage nodes, wbe a viable alternative to WED?

I mean, it's 39% more damage at max rank multiplied by the 80% from passives.

An alternative to WED? Absolutely not. Test it out to see for yourself; WED will do a Lot more damage.

However, adding Added Fire does increase DPS, but it has to be paired with WED. If you wanted, you could skip Faster Attacks and use Added Fire. While I do not find it as potent, it would still work. Single target is easy to deal with.

Hey Venator, thanks for the hard work you've put on this guide.
Now, could you link your current gear? I'm highly interested in your 60s set.
No change since a day or two ago when I last posted; but it got buried a couple of pages back.

Spoiler

Notice I prefer Charge Recovery on my Granite and Quicksilver... It really saves my ass, there is no better affix setup for those two flasks than what I have, for this build. The HP flasks are standard; one is a quick recovery flask, one is a duration recovery flask, and one is an instant recovery on low life flask. The instant one also has Curse removal/Immunity, which is wonderful.

When should I drop the Blood Magic passive and use the support gem instead?

No problem, if you got any questions, ask away. In HC you should prioritize a lot of HP nodes over anything else, the damage will naturally grow from items. Check into the HC endgame variation to get a general idea on which HP nodes to pick up, but start off by approximately building the initial lvl65 passive tree.

From the OP a few key notes about dropping BM are obvious - you need to have two 5L items in order to respec out of Blood Magic. As for the level, a good idea is to reach around 75 before switching.

An important tip: level your Blood Magic support gems as you find them! You don't want to use a lvl1 support gem when you switch up, because it raises the cost of the skill unnecessarily.

Yet another tip: you can use two one handed weapons with three slots each in your secondary weapon set (you switch with the little tabs in inventory, or by using X key by default), and socket them with gems you just want to level up. They will normally level up; but as long as they are in the secondary set you cannot use them.

If we already have 80% all resists, is it worth to take purity instead of Grace, and pick BM in support gem ?

It is more of a HC option. Basically it boosts your resists to 85%, raising the cap, which is why it is so good.

SC players might want to just skip that and play with the BM keystone, run Anger and Wrath on their HP, and add more DPS to their skills. Personal preference comes in play again!

EDIT: Updated the OP regarding more options for SC players, and added the tip about BM support gem leveling in advance in the skill section.
