A few posts back I linked an endgame build for those interested in maxing out their potential late game. I did not include that in the OP just yet, though, which is probably why all these discussions keep getting in here. Link: http://tinyurl.com/bx6elat

On a side note! The new game update this morning brought a very important thing to know:

Good thing I'm going Leech

Do you guys recommend an Evasion plate to get the GGGRR sockets? I'm trying to do this with an Armor plate and it's a pain.

anybody have an input?
so really projectile damage contribute less than other points like elemental damge with weapons?
is there any experiment to conclude that?
Me so far at lev 58-59 in my crap gear.

With Iron Reflexes, it doesn't matter if it's Evasion or Armor. Just go with whatever gives you access to the 5L without compromising too many other things.

Yes, it definitely does because of the main skill you're using to attack things with (Lightning Arrow). Projectile damage is definitely still big, but with the usage of +% Elemental Damage from WED support gem, you're better off getting something that adds elemental damage instead of just pure physical damage.

I can easily test it myself because I have two bows that are Grove Bows (lvl 35 bow). One bow is this one:

And the other one is this one:

Even with the faster attack speed on the first one and increased physical damage, the second one still gives me more DPS because of the fire damage added (which is getting multiplied by 69% because of my lvl 9 WED support gem on LA).

Now, projectile damage is definitely still adding quite a bit, but the amount of damage will skyrocket when you add +% elemental damage nodes. I currently have +70% from nodes (at level 40) and I saw a GIANT leap in damage because of it (somewhere in the neighborhood of going from ~130 dps to ~330 dps because of it as a few extra damage stats on various equipment pieces).
Could we get more info about going for Inner force and then going to celestial walker from the top? Is the 30% boost to wrath+anger + (grace) DPS wise worth sacrificing 2 points to get there and 3 points to get IF itself? Or is the Increased AoE worth it that much? (At this point, lvl 53, I still prefer split arrow over LA, so i guess the AoE isnt worth much for me yet)

Link to build - only showing the path to CW from the top via IF.

Couple misc notes form yesterday

Took a quick break form leveling up my glass cannon build to do a couple comparison runs between Pierce and Chain. Not really seeing a clear winner after just a couple runs. Pierce is definitely the winner when you get a long/narrow mob pack, but a lot of the time (especially in more open areas) the packs were wide enough/shallow enough that chain was the better choice. I feel like Pierce is the Peak/Valley set up, with a wide range of kill speed that changes pack to pack based on grouping, while Chain is a little more consistent, slower on some packs, faster on others, but generally no big swings.

I did like that chain generally does more hits which is nice for LoH, though I will need to test tonight if I should be switching my LoH for LL after the last set of patch notes...

And of course, the new path broke RAT, so I won't get to test out my RAT+RoA+WE+(FA or some other support, hear LoH heals owner and totem unlike LL...) side project right away lol.
this is my curent build, i`m tring to be a high crit lightning arrow morader... i managed to get to lvl 47 with crappi ghear, soloing everithing

this is the full build

i basically focus on getting as much str as possible, because str = life and dmg

I`m useing for main attack lightning arrow + life on hit + lesser multiple projectiles + weapon elemental damage

and

poison arrow + chain + pierce for mobs that are imune to elemental

i`m curently not running any auras because i dont have sockets, this is my second char and dont have much stuff, all the gems i have are from quests or drops

The problem with this build is that i need some dex from ghear

Just wanted to throw this out there...

It might mess with our single target damage a bit since EH is a random element, but another thing I have been toying with... My LA damage is roughly 70% lit damage, 20% fire damage, 10% cold damage. Would it be worthwhile to take Elemental equilibrium, then use a Spell totem with something like Spell totem+Frost pulse+Faster projectiles+LMP? Would probably work better if I could flip some of my fire damage to cold/lit, and use a spell totem with Firestorm+increased area+faster cast? idea mainly being to continuously hit them with a non-lit single element source to give them -50% to the other two elements which would make up most of your main damage.

[edit] I guess I should clarify, the only real concern I have with this idea, is that my attack speed is so high that I can't really see the totem properly re-setting EE between each of my attacks, and my attack would cause +25% res all. I could almost see it with the firestorm totem though. Does the continual burning ground effect from something like fire trap work for re-setting EE? Basically, just throw a fire trap grenade style (with increased area support), then enjoy -50% lit and cold res?

[edit2] and of course, it can mess with parties, but I solo mostly...
