[0.10.4b] Bow Marauder (The Shocker (tm)) [**TO BE UPDATED SOON 1.0.0**]

do we want to focus on normal armour gear or evasion gear? because armour gear slows down your movement speed
All I know, is I had about 86% accuracy prior to taking it, and was constantly annoyed with misses. Now that I have it, I don't even think about it - in fact, your post reminded me about it, and made me realize how awesome that skill is. Take it.

Regarding Blood Magic, I also bee-lined to it and had about 600 life when I got it. Never had any issues, but made things so much easier to manage. No need to put it off.
The main difference between this build and the physical ranger LA build is that a ranger can choose to go for crit instead of being shackled to Resolute Technique and Static Blows. This allows for a considerably higher damage output as well as potentially better facilities for applying shock.

Also, the marauder build is almost exclusively elemental damage while a ranger build could focus much more on physical damage which not only raises the lightning damage of LA but also allows for better life leech and provides safety against reflect mobs. The marauder builds tend to have almost or literally no bonuses to physical damage, so 90% of the final damage output is elemental whereas the ranger build is more like 40% physical and 60% elemental.

The defensive stats are actually more similar than you'd think, but the marauder build remains a little tankier and might be better suited for HC play while the ranger build should achieve a much higher damage output which will help with farming and leveling. The ranger can still get +100% armor and +170% life, which is sort of the sweet spot for softcore play.

ummm so why go marauder bow build over ranger bow build? is there any advantages with marauder over ranger?
Survivability, all the Health nodes really helps out. There are more reasons but that is the main reason I picked Marauder over Ranger.

In that way ur lowering ur damage as u will need to mix gear for some phys and some ele dmg , meanwhile when ur pure physical or pure ele u can focus on that and take all benefits from that kind of dmg output.

does phyiscal damage on a bow matter at all for this build? or is it all about the +elemental damage
i was making a lightning bow Mara then came across this thread.

1) my main attack link would be: Lightning arrow, Lesser Multiple Projectiles, Fork
THat should give me 6 arrows.

but your split arrows-Weapon Elemental Damage-fork starts at 6 arrows and goes up.

2) never thought about Wrath/Static blows. extra 40% dmg to enemies that are shocked.
Does shock also stun them? or they can still swing at you while shocked?

if the latter, then is it worth wasting all those skill points on INT to get to Static Blows? We dont use INT for anything else. (We dont need mana because of Blood magic.)

3) Instead of Static blows/elemental dmg and all those INT nodes to get to them, how about Iron Reflexes plus the elemental dmg nodes near it?

i would love to use Iron reflexes and convert all those STR nodes into projectile dmg.
It's like we're wasting 1/2 of STR nodes.

4) No 8% Chaos resist node near the Ranger's weapon elemental dmg section?

5) Why no Blood drinker (2% phys dmg leeched back as life)?

6) If i find a +40% dex quiver, should I use an orb to make it yellow rare?
or stick with the cheaper blue magical orb since if I dont like the stats, I can use another cheap orb to re-roll the stats?
