[0.10.4b] Bow Marauder (The Shocker (tm)) [**TO BE UPDATED SOON 1.0.0**]

Are you taking IR because of the dex nodes in the tree or are you wearing straight Evasion Rating Gear? And if you're wearing evasion gear, does the rate at which IR convert Evasion into damage reduction higher than just wearing armor?

The principle is that you do not need to aim for the highest Evasion/Armour rating armour you can possibly get, but having the flexibility to use both, and therefore having a wider range of possibilities. An example would be, if you limit yourself to Armour gear only, and find an incredible Evasion item which stats fit you perfect, you would shoot yourself, but in this case, you can use it!

I was wondering... in Default League, Bow Marauders are stronger or weaker than Rangers?
Assuming similars builds.
And by stronger, I mean less deaths, better clearing time, easier boss fights etc..

Neither stronger nor weaker. A similar build in this game can mean IDENTICAL build. For this build, you can start at Templar, Marauder, Duelist or Ranger starting point, and have an identical build. Whether a character is called Marauder or Ranger makes no effective difference at all. Unless you like the visual character model.

Hm 1 page back i read the build would look a bit different from "passive tree" in first page , so could u please make and link the passive tree for hardcore , cuz i made marauder today and started to play thru your build on HC :p

Thanks yo

Well that's up to you to decide what you want to add to the build, and what you want to take out. The build on the original post is HC viable as it is, but you would probably want to take even more HP nodes around the path, and sacrifice some of the damage nodes - it's a game of risk and reward; risk more - kill faster, or risk less - smaller death chance. Usually people go for less risk, because in HC the only important thing is to stay alive. Clear speed is useless if your character dies!

Not sure if anyone asked this yet but, I was wondering if the bandit quest rewards are still the same with this new build as with the old (40+ life, skill point, frenzy charge). Maybe good to get attack speed now or..?

I updated that part of the guide about 7 hours ago.

When it comes to Bandit quest, you may choose whatever you like, but if you are still unsure how it's going to play out, pick HP or skill point, then skill point or attack speed, and then skill point or bonus frenzy charge. (If you took skill points on each one, you can if you wish to just put the skill point in a HP node, a Frenzy Charge node, or an iAS node, and have the exact same result.)

I would also suggest you do a level breakdown of the passive skill tree. =)
Like:
level 1 - 20 (link with skill tree)
level 20 - 40 (link with skill tree)
etc...
Alright, but that kind of varies from player to player. As long as you get to the "finished product" you're alright. I will put in what I would generally do, I guess...

i went straight for bloodmagic, did i screw up? i havent picked it up but i can as i have 2 points saved now..just curious if its not a good idea at early levels?

I dont think BM is good unless you have lots of hp regen. Its best to be taken at later levels. I think RT is the 1st must have
Venator I sent you a PM whenever you get a chance to read it

i also got RT first then went to BM.. not sure where to go now i am at BM , may be i go for more health?
personally, I take BM ASAP - its about 24 lvl(15 RT) as i dont want to deal with all this mana management problems.
at my 24-25 lvl i was about 650 hp and 20hp per sec

thats my playstyle. I feel comfortable only with this way.
other people probably would play another way...
AS mentioned earlier, I had kind of independently started a fairly similar character, but I wasn't around in closed beta so I am missing some experience and do have a question about RT.

Currently around level 42, I have my arc hat passes right by RT filled in, but I haven't gotten RT itself because just with the dex from my equip my stat screen says I have about 90% accuracy. I was wondering how accurate that is since I know it varies by the monster's evade stat. I haven't actually put the point into RT yet because going from 90% to 95% (cap I believe) didn't really seem worth giving up the occasional crit.

Is the number on the char screen just wayy off, or will I not actually feel an accuracy crunch due to low dex/no accuracy nodes until merciless? Because if my acc is going to hover around 90% anyway, losing crits doesn't really seem worth it (rather it seems I should then build for some extra crit chance/damage...)
