...::: [1.1.0] TK's ST CoC Shadow aka THE WELDER :::...

Very nice build. Atm at level 76 rapidly rising. Though I don't feel like using CwDT wth decoy totem and EC, I prefer to cast them myself, really helps more if you can distract monsters with totem yourself and load enduring charges before you get Immortal Call from the other link with CwDT. That's my point of view. Current gear:

Cheers

At which level should start I using daggers? Should I wait until 60 and keep leveling until then with a two handed weapon like I'm doing now?

Thanks.
I prefer sooner, as you chc rises over 60% - somewhere at beginning of merc.

To the above, I personally went to CoC w/Tabula at 19 when CoC is equippable.

I have a question of my own now. I'm level 68, yet I can't seem to progress to 69 for whatever reason. I go to maps, or Lunaris (without Piety) and I get decently far, then just die to...some random things. Uh, here's my current gear:

My defences with Clarity/Purity on are 1495 armor -22/24/51. I know these are dirt low, I just hate looking for gear. D: When I eventually hit 69 I'll have these gloves to wear, which I'll socket in a CwDT set-up.
Should give me a big boost.

Any other tips for me to continue on so I can run maps with a little more ease, and be able to also do map mods?
Have you checked out the "Elemental Cast on Crit Scion" build that was posted a few days ago? Would like to hear your thoughts on it.

You're asking a question and you give an answer in same.
When you go maps; your resi should be capped. That's how things work in this game. Hell even at act 2+ merc your resi should be or capped or over 50%, mostly.

Your rare gear is just bad, I vendor things like that. 1 chaos per piece gear should give you massive boosts. Your health should be near 4K. Most of your rare pieces should have 70+ on life. This build is frail - we use tabula; we sacrifice life on helm. That means all of our rares MUST be high life /high resi pieces. I said this build has low gear requirements, not that it has none.

Even your flasks are bad. Surgeon's should be every one, or life /armor ones. Yes you lack diamond flask. Check again guide and my flasks.

Even your cwdt setup is awkward. Just copy my gear and my gem setup as close as you can. You must invest more in your character to be able to play maps.

I've checked up that scion. Double ungil's gauche... his chc must be around 60%. When you attack large group it's not that much noticeable because ST proccs like crazy but on few targets ... I've saw suspiciously long "non crit" series on that videos. So you sacrifice crit, OK, but block isn't that great - you don't maxblock (55%) - we have 29. Nothing drastic and sacrificed much.

Further more with 55% block you can have only 27% spellblock which is nothing spectacular and you give away more chc (stone of lahzwar)

Further more I really don't know why he didn't take spell acro - oh wait I do, we can barely afford it and we start way closer.

Next thing, he does not have life leech. Ouch.

Only true advantage I see is EE, which is too far for us to grab. So he should have more dps, in theory, ofc he critts 30% less then we do, in practice.

Overall slightly different approach, imo perhaps not much worse but not better either.

I'd say 50 res on all elements is way too low, and you go under zero on some. Secondly, try using decoy totem as normal skill, it can save your ass many times. Make sure you cap all resists (I have around 100% on all so i dont get kicked on -all res maps), high hp gear and acrobatics taken. Also flasks are important - as it's been said get surgeon mods on all possible and maybe one with instant hp recovery. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Main reason my gear isn't the best is I absolutely hate trading, no matter what game I play.

I'll try to get flasks fixed. Any time I've seen a Surgeon's one, I've usually used it unless something I have beats it by enough. Also I use healthx2, manax1, quicksilverx2 on every character I play pretty much, I've kinda gotten used to it now. ^^

As for equipment. As I type this I'm going through my entire stash getting it all ready to make a proper shop thread to try and get some currency, right now I have maybe 23chaos to me. Have Vaal Orb prices settled yet? anyway once this is done I'll have a look through poe.xyz, see what I can find for cheap.

When I reach 69 and get those Gloves equipped, I'll sort out both my gloves and boot links. Umm, how are my 2 daggers? They're the best things I have found so far. I've been picking up random global crit daggers and Alchemy'ing them. I have 79.3/73.3 crit chance. Is it worth spending some currency making them 3l or should I continue looking.
Daggers are passable. Work on your defense first, find better daggers last. You can 3L them. Again, I've sold 2night 2x better dagger then your second for 2 chaos, so.....

Up to you.

Possible silly question, but any reason you have a skill point in bow damage and speed? Is this just an error that you didn't see?
