Im running biiiig probls on 4/5 parties. Just get one shoted by reflects. The dmg reflect is overwelming!!


In parties mobs have much more HP so reflect suddenly becomes much bigger problem, luckily solution is simple: Lay back and let your friends take out those nasties while you return favor in physical damage reflect. Partying is about cooperation not just race to loot and kills.

And yes, life leech helps MUCH on reflect. That and limiting damage output; for example by using arc in parties. It will shockstack mobs and make them more sensitive to damage (90% more - it shows very nicely), so there are ways.

I played a pure 2h ST physical dmg character, and loved it.
I haven't played since about a week or two after scion dropped....
I want to get back into this game having some more free time, and the mini xpac.


You can try it out then. Gear is luckily cheap, free respecs are coming soon, I will update tree quickly. Good thing about this build is that it can be played as several variants just with few minor tree differences; danmaku cyclone shadow, welder shadow or even physical crit dagger build; it has shadow +dagger +crit chance base and it can be adapted to several variants.

Unfortunately both are only 40% global crit, but still the improvement is HUGE compared to using 1.2 APS daggers, now I can finally kill Piety the first time she goes into Fire form and before she comes out of it.

There is also "blinding speed" node nearby (2 points) to get 12% of attack speed more.
I mean on large groups proccing is extreme no matter of attack speed but on single mobs, difference is noticable. I've though about faster daggers but this baby;



Is hard to replace.

It's not twice as fast but merely 15% stronger but you gain much bigger crit chance with dual wield. Check passive tree.

Well I kept making some changes to the build cause I was eeling too "glacy", wich I hate.

- So I swapped EK/FP for life leech gem and I feel much better. Even better when I can make it 20% I hope... And lets face it, u dont need the third spell to destroy any regular monster. More damage will get u killed more often on reflect packs.

- Im also investing on the decoy totem, so he can help me on boss fight and dont always get one shotted

- Devouers are no longer a problem. I changed my boots and my amulet and also dropped haste, so I could run clarity on mana. Now I have 4.1k life instead of 3.2k...

- I also swapped my ring, since I'm using life leech gem and dont need the leech from the frozen enemies

- I'm enjoying evasion more than armor cause u can simply mitigate all the damage if u r lucky, including those explosive arrows guys.

- AS is very nice like I stated on a previous post but u will not want to have too much, if your leech or regen cant keep up with it.

- I got all the life nods and now I'm heading to the projectiles nodes on the ranger tree. I was thinking on getting those 2 crit chance nodes on the shadow side but I dont think +2% crit will make a difference compared to 16% projectiles dmg (from spectral throw+ice spear+fireball)

- I changed my seetings so the game could run faster and I found it to be very helpfull (not full quality but more fun to play). Too bad I cant ruun the FB microtransaction cause it makes the pcp to choke :/

My suggestion would be to read guide again, whole this time. Most of issues that bother you are answered there already.

Then check leveling tree and see how far are you behind. Check you crit chance on ST.

THEN if you have more questions, ask away here.

Update changed pretty much nothing for this build, you can just slap [1.1] is the title and say that it was updated ;)

Even with relocation of VP you still need about the same amount of wasted points to get it, not really viable.

Throatseeker cluster between Witch and Shadow is more point-efficient now, but taking it means just making it easier to die on reflect...

That is true, characters remain functional.

Yet I was thinking of rebuilding the tree to grab acro/ondars triangle thus massive improving resilience on this build. It could mean major difference.

I'll try to play with tree tonight. Don't discard your full respec options just yet :)

Thanks! I have 2 passives ready but I'll wait some more! Let us know if you find something more efficient. I'm pretty new to the game and I love the build so far, lots of fun.
Ehh it wasn't easy to "ease" up our tree by those 10 points.

I had to take away small cluster of life across the bloodthirst, @lvl 84 you should be able to finally grab ele acro. For tabula and out low armor build this would be I believe optimal. We lose some life but 40% dodge and 30% spell dodge is quite huge.

We have 18% chance to evade (with haste) and 33% if you opt for grace.
29% chance to block.
And to put 40% att dodge and 30% spell dodge on that would be major difference, I'm positive.
