You know what would be even cooler than free stuff? If anyone has level 20-ish characters they were wanting to play through Cruel together over the weekend, I bet that would be a lot of fun. :)

My weekends are usually swamped that's why I'm still on level 58 LOL. Get up to 50ish and I will get through act 3 cruel and rush into merc!

@mechclams: Haha! Yeah, the thought had crossed my mind that it was a troll item named after farting. Also, I was looking at Mathil's thread the other day and wondering how it compares. Biomuesli respecced to it recently and said it's awesome, so I may start just sending everybody over there.

I found that your guide is actually very helpful and that you've taken bits and steps to give as much insight as possible, but I have a question:

For some of us who don't have as much currency or don't have as much luck as others around the trade chat, what would you say would make decent replacements for



Quill Rain along with Barrage and CoC seems to get most stuff done, and RoA for getting down bigger mobs. But as you probably may know that late game enemies get a bit beefier and take a few more hits to whittle down and may end up getting yourself killed, but that's kind of the reason why I'm asking. X)

EDIT:

Managed to break through and get myself and taking on Dominus and progressing to Cruel. Guess all I needed was a upgrade to the tools.

Nice! Yeah, I was going to ask what level you were.

Until you start mapping, pretty much just whatever falls on the ground, pop open your character sheet to see if it's an upgrade. At level 68, start picking up white Harbinger Bows; try an Alchemy and vendor if you don't like what you get. It's cheaper than Scouring or Chaos.

@mechclams: If you're still following this thread, now that I'm actually properly set up to run Windripper and specced for it, you are absolutely correct. And actually, with all the +Fire damage on my gear, Anger is coming out on top. Didn't want your comment to go unacknowledged. Thanks! :)

Anyone help a ambush buddy out with getting a Windripper before the price skyrockets with all these builds coming out ? I have 16 exalt so far just need another 6-8 :( maybe on a loan term basis lol!
