Burned Miscreation - how do you increase it's damage

I don't understand why Remote Mine should work with minions in the first place... Since it gives multiplicative damage to your minions, it takes variety away since it's a must-have gem if you want to maximize your minion's damage.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but is what Mark said in the first reply still how the mechanic works? I ask because the wiki for remote mine (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Remote_Mine) explicitly says that remote mine does NOT boost the damage of any minions or traps linked to it.

Trap and Remote Mine were changed to specifically grant More Trap/Mine Damage respectively. Unrighteous Fire deals neither Trap nor Mine Damage, and will not benefit from these Supports.
The Wiki isn't 100% accurate when saying it does not apply to Minions dealing Damage - if the Minion uses a damaging Mine, then the bonus still applies. | |

Why does the tool tip on the attack like blink arrow or mirror arrow on your skills slots show an increase in the damage stat when you use a trap and mine damage support gem linked to the trap support and mirror arrow.
Is the tool tip wrong then there is no damage increase . | |
" The tooltip shows the damage of the Mirror Arrow skill, i.e. the arrow hitting an enemy. If the skill is delivered by a trap, this damage is correctly affected by Trap Damage increases - as the tooltip verifies. The damage of the Mirror Arrow minion is not shown anywhere (and fundamentally cannot be shown, since the minion is a completely different entity from the player).
