Why Arguments Against AH Fail -- And A Suggestion
I'm new so maybe i'm way off, but as long as ppl can't "buy" items with $ or "buy" currency items with $, everyone still has to play the game to get what they need to barter for what they want.
Simply giving players a place to put items they want to sell so others can find them and barter, without having to be online at the exact same time, how would that destroy the game economy? Make it so items put up for sale can't be removed, just sold as with normal vendors if no other player wants the item and players will think before putting items up for sale. I would like to simply be able to put an item up for sale and have others make offers. The offers could be items already listed for sale or items you put in the offer and get back if the offer is rejected. On a side note, what is social about an ARPG? I don't open PoE to chat, i open it to play. Socializing is done in forums and chat rooms. This is the forum, is there a PoE chat room somewhere? |

This AH, no AH thing remembers me of the problem with loot allocation.
We suggested perma allocation by bringig up a lot of valid points why it would be cool. Trolls came and told it would be bad/carebear/etc without any explantation. GGG implemented loot options. (well it took like a year, but we finally got it) The wast majority using perma allocation now, because it's clearly better than the other 2. Now we suggesting an AH or Marketplace over this shitty trade system. "I'm programmed to say something that is kind and uplifting at this point, but there is apparently an error that is working in my favor."
