[1.0.6]CI Stormcall Build - Low Budget Endgame Build - 30k AoE DPS [FINALLY with VIDEOS]

Build was pretty decent then you realize it's massive flaws on a boss like the weaver chamber were you just get raped compared to other builds solo.

Though I have one question:
Why did you not take the Chance to Shock node below Static Blows? This should increase the shock uptime and application speed by a good deal.

Yeah, I was wondering the exact same thing. That node + Static Blows is a must IMO, although apparently everything works just fine without it according to OP.

Also, I was wondering just how useful the 3 decreased ES cooldown were. I have never specc'd into these nodes so far because I can't see them being terribly useful. It seems better to either spec into some mana/Aura buffs, pick up some +% max ES nodes, or pick up spell damage nodes. I am also finding that to get to 7000+ ES, it's necessary for me to pick up about 200-300 ES from gear (before multiplier). Right now, I am at 6043 ES, and I can do most things comfortably (although reflect maps rape me).

Gear for those curious

The rings are crappy bargain bin rings that do fine for now. The gloves are from my previous failed build that was an Ar/Es hybrid, so they are only good for hybrids. I am saving up for better gear. The helmet be an obvious source for improvement. I can probably buy a good circlet for a couple Ex.

Maybe I'm confused but the Static Blows and the passive after it doesn't ADD 10% chance to shock. It just raises you to that if you don't have it already from another source, like a gem. Look at how it's phrased "10% chance to shock" not "10% Increased chance to shock". I already had 10% chance to shock with a gem and it changed nothing. Just FYI.

Static Blows gives your lightning spells a 10% to shock, the passive below adds another 10%. As you can see on the pictures on the main page this gives you 20% chance to shock per Stormcall marker and 40% chance to shock per arc (with 20% Quality)

If you die at Weaver's Chamber (which is not even mapcontent) you are doing it wrong. Give us some information about your lvl/gear/problems and we might help.
I cleared all maps including bosses up to 76 (excluding Residence LvL 74 Map & Torture Chamber LvL 72 Map) solo with the decent but not good equipment shown in the first post.
If you fail at Weaver, its an equipment/playstyle problem - not a build problem.

I remember what i want to ask from you :) Can you please make quality of gems overview? For example interesting for me to use or not quality for life leech, we no need vaal pact but what about life leech rate? Btw im pretty sure that i didnt properly understand the meaning of "life leech rate"

Quality Lifeleech helps if you play a lot of reflect maps or lack ES in endgame maps. I do not have quality LL yet and missed it only rarely.
Faster Casting with quality is a great deal and helps you reduce your gear/skill requirements to get a new marker.
If you can get your hand on a quality Arc it helps you lvling a lot by shockstacking (if you play with Arctotem from the beginning), but it is no musthave.
I guess there is no "need" for a quality gem but i would say these are the best gems to look for quality:
Faster Casting - LifeLeech - Arc - Lightning Penetration - Concentrated Effect(no order intended)

LOL, I'm such a noob. I was looking at Coldsnap and didn't even know it. I've never had it as a spell until I started playing this build and use it as part of Cast when Damage Taken. All I can say is Stormcall and Coldsnap do look alot alike. :) Thanks for correcting me.
Added a Video of soloing LvL 76 Academy Map Boss.

MapMods: 3 Additional Projectiles / -15 Max Resist / Elemental Weakness / Immune to curses.

I went on a shopping trip and got new items. My luckiest piece was a 792 ES Vaal Regalia for 20 Chaos which i 6s5l in 91 Jewellers and 35 fusings (now at 9k ES overall). By updating my wand (7chaos) i managed to get an +1.5k DPS increase. The belt (7chaos) upgrade allows it to wear Perandus Signet.

Everything else stayed the same - just wanted to give you a better overall look.

Sent you a PM.
The build works fine in 1.0.6 - i am testing Summon Raging Spirits instead of Skeletons on a CWDT gem and will give feedback soon :)
How is the new gem working out?
Hi there, found your build pretty interesting, testing it out right now.
I'm playing on Nemesis tho and leveling a CI Character is nothing easy. So I tried to modify the Build to fit a life-based Character.
Any thoughts on it would be awesome!
