[1.0.6] Lunys' LA / Frenzy High End Crit Ranger GUIDE (in-depth analysis) 3 VIDEOS

I guess without blood magic u will have to sacrifice big chunk of dps to solve mana issue.
yeah, you would have to sacrifice way to much in order to drop blood magic.

Happy to hear that you like the guide. I personally think the only reason to go for voltaxic though is if you can't afford the mirrored harbinger... or you want to play a very save build with much less dps, which will still get fucked by desync ;)

Since we have Iron Reflexes you can go for a body armour with high AR right? any disadvantage?

I would have to vehemently disagree with that statement. The top ladder runners all use voltaxic and for good reason. In fact, I don't think more than 2 people in the top 60 use that duped harbinger and their both not surprisingly both ES based.

Most players will find lack of regen coupled with health spiking will kill you far more than desync ever will. To date, I do not have a single death caused by desync.

I find it very troubling players with sub 3000 life and or mediocre dps would even consider this build(VP) when it could be unanimously agreed upon that there are vastly better alternatives at that gear level.

I'm only doing 1800dps LA 3300dps frenzy (b4 charges) and i still kill ok although I'll soon need better gear. I must admit that my play style is a little different in that i curse with projectile weakness and use an iceshot ranged totem for kiting harder rare/boss monsters. Also I only have 2k life and have only died a couple of times.

Well apparently you are not experiencing desync and laags of the severity i have within the last couple weeks. Which is good for you! But no matter how tanky your build is, you will never have a 100% survival rate if you end up in the middle of a monster pack without being able to do anything for up to 10 full seconds... at least twice a day.

As for players with mediocre gear... i have pointed out countless times that there are much better alternatives for them. And still i get plenty of messages of people enjoying the build even on a beginner gear level. Which is still quite suprising for me.

I quess the vast majority of players enjoy dealing tons of damage for the sacrifice of the survivability which will get you to lvl 95+ with only a couple of deaths.

At the time of this post there are only 133 players in the standard league that have made it to lvl 95+. Considering the amount of builds and choices available in this game i am not suprised that "only 2 people in the top 60" use the harbinger bow. There are probably only 5 bow users in total in that group of people.

I've made it to the top 300 with this build within a pretty short time and i had a lot of fun.
Granted... i switched builds now (something entirely different), but thats defenitely not because i wasn't satisfied with my leveling speed. I just think it is boring to stick to a single build in this game from lvl 1 to 100.

Finally let me say this one last time, because i am sick and tired of having the same conversation over and over and over and over and over again.
So here we go:
Yes, there are multiple bow builds out there that do more than enough damage in order to farm endgame maps efficiently and at the same time have a higher level of survivability. None of them can be compared to this one when it comes to damage output, yet i personally do NOT recommend my build if you want to make it to level 100 in a save and as cost efficient as possible way.

You may not let this go, but it is certainly the last time i am going to adress this matter in this thread.

I didnt see many people post duped harbingers post here but yes, this bow will out damage any other bow in the game for a crit build by a noticeable margin.

I counted 13 but im sure theres a few more in the top 60.

whats interesting is 7 out of the top 20 used bows if you count hvr the rest generally used aegis and we have some outliers in the form of one wander, two spell caste and several spectral throwers.

That's quite the suprise for me, but good news actually! Happy to hear bow builds are so popular.

Yeah sorry i was in a bad mood when i wrote this reply. I'm about to find out if there is a maximum of players you can ignore ingame. I get showered with stupid questions or even some insults all the time. Maybe one out of 20 messages includes a "thanks for the guide"... before asking a question which answers itself when reading the guide.

So guys ... before you message me at least check the index if there is a question that may answer your question.

if you want half the life.... as you can see has very little life in the tree. so you would be looking at 3500 or so.

nice build. when i get 600 exalts i might try it.
Why ask Why and start by denying before you have actually tried?
