This is a sweet build. I do have one question for the experienced poe players. I still need to buy enduring cry for the build. How much should I pay for it in trade chat?

I use this: http://blackrabbit2999.blogspot.com/2012/07/path-of-exile-quest-gem-reward-list.html

to determine whether or not a gem has value. If it's from Normal difficulty, then it's an easy gem to obtain. The fact that it's an easy quest from Act 2 no less, surely you can get it yourself. You won't need Enduring Cry all that much till then, so if you want to buy it then go ahead. However, I wouldn't pay all that much for it.

Wow you just saved me a bunch. Insta-bookmark that site

thanks

I'm getting raped in merciless with this build......

Me too.. I can manage but I need to pay absolute full attention.
Seems like you're better off using a caster or something to be quite honest.

You both are doing it wrong then!
Maybe it's your gear!?
awesome guide, owned on normal difficulty. But act 2 cruel has me running for my townportal from apes.

RIP At Norm Kole. Not enough HP at lvl 33 with shitty gear. Only 800hp.

Sorry to hear that - Finding it hard going myself - This game is a real challenge.

I slowly progress in merciless. Not easy and you have to be very careful, I usualy level up before Bosses to be on the save side. And since Brutus killed me 2 times (even with tha 4K Armour Flask!!! - what sort of dmg does this guy?) it was a wise decission. 15% loss is alot in merciless so you better try to avoid deaths or do like I do and get a level up straight before a boss. ^^
With 5-6x charges so far, my resists are all up to 75%, time to get the "elemental Adaptation" passive I guess. I also experiment with the "Warlord's Mark", didn't use it so far but could be useful too.

But there is ONE big problem unsolved, how do I get Chaos Resists??? GGG are somehow joking when creating a elemental that is not so easy to handle. A little bit unfair imho, why does it not count to the rest of the resists? Would make life much easier and more fair for little marauders like me. :D
Passive skills are no option I guess, to far away. I have some resist on an old armor and a flask that gives at least some chaos resist...for 4 seconds...so there are some options but Im 60% in MINUS with Chaos, this could hurt later in the game where so much mobs deal chaos dmg.

So how to deal with this "little" problem?

RIP... Getting the right gear (HP/resists) can be pretty tough, even with trading.

This build was rough near the end of Normal/beginning of Cruel, but got significantly better with some upgrades. I eventually died to Cruel Kole due to desyncing. His blood wave attack only hit for about half my HP, but there was nothing I could do when I thought I was in another room and the server thought I was stuck on the corner of a torch like a sitting duck. Not fun watching your HP drop in big chunks when there's nothing near you.
I wanted to supply my HC Fire Witch (Aloyse) level 24 with Molten Shell, so I started a marauder to rush Brutus. I followed this build

Lol now I'm level 35 and screw the witch. Marauder is easy game. Lots of HP (1K right now), near maxed resists (60 to 80%). Pitiful armour though (36% dmg reductions).

Sadly, I'm still using this Axe i found when fighting Kratyn in act2
How are we supposed to use Grace when level 1 Grace requires 73 Dexterity, when following this guide, we dont get dex at all?

I can even ask the same question for Wrath, it requires 29 int -- we dont get our one and only Int node near level 80, to total up to ~24 int (at lvl 80).
