Build is one of the best, tried by many people. If you have followed the tree, then you gear just sucks.
Dominus is the Final Boss, it is supposed to be hard, it is supposed to give you a run for your money and kick your ass! I have been playing games for 20+ years and there is nothing more disappointing in a game than a week final boss ;)

What i said depends on you weapon and you skill tree ofc. If you have +200% phys dmg but only +10% AS, then +10% dmg is just a notch more but +10% AS is a notable difference.
For another class (or a different Marauder build) that focuses on AS, things can be the opposite: if you could have +200% AS but only had +10% phys dmg, things would be the exact opposite ;)

Post release, imo 1 Aura is not worth it with or without taking the BM node, so i agree with what you said.
But you go Mana to run at least 2 Auras, 3 is possible with some tree nodes and a Unique or two and good players that build their tree for multiple Auras use even more.
The thing is that once you get to end game and you have pretty much reached around 90% of your maximum level (you will not get to be lvl100), you will see that Auras in one of the few good ways to increase your survivability (as a 2hander).
You can boost you DPS if you have the 20ex to buy a 6L, and you can also boost your armor with another 20ex 2.5K AR chest, but your tree is 95% complete so it is what it is. That is why (at least pre-patch) most 2H Marauders would respec out of BM node at end game (around lvl70?) and go for multiple Auras, so they could boost their survivability (it is also covered in this build in first post).

Personally i can run 2 Auras with only one "x% Mana leech" piece of gear, for more details see this post: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/73072/page/253#p5049607

In my latest posts you see me using only one Aura because i play in parties, so i get 3-4 Auras from other players (sometimes i even turn my lvl18 Hatred off because someone uses a higher lvl one).
Besides Hatred, Determination is good and Grace is super-good if you have IR. Determination+Grace gets you from 5K to over 20K armor, not bad for a non-shield build ;)




About the Marohi Erqi:
The Marohi like all good Uniques has it's benefits and drawbacks. It was never the best phys DPS 2H Mace (see a 604physDPS here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/540888/page/1#p4884349 ), but it is a very good Mace and it was the "typical Mace to buy if you played 2H" when you reached the end game, for an "affordable" price (couple of ex).
Back when i bought mine there was always a ton of then for sale, at least 2-3 with under 5 total sockets for 2ex and you could buy 5L ones for 5ex (and way over 10ex for a 6L). I searched for them yesterday and didn't find the same abundance for sale, plus the prices seem out of control, but i don't know if this is the way things are now or if this is just a bad week to buy a Marohi... So now days maybe the Marohi is not the "standard 2H Mace to upgrade to" for new players. I really can't say because you have to know the market (search frequently) and i haven't looked for Maces in ages, just took a quick look at poe.xyz

Once you reach over lvl80, XP is really hard to get. High-lvl (>70) map parties are the only way to go...
At player lvl84 a lvl66 map has a -90% XP penalty and even a lvl72 has around -40% :/

Yeah I agree. My Voidhome had more dps than the marohi I just brought, but I can actually one shot now (the damage is in one hit rather than 3.

Marohis are hideously expensive. Luckily I just picked up a perfect rolled 5L for 9EX.

The Voidhome has horrific drawbacks, it should only be used as a last resort by desperate people :P

buzzinowt you started playing 2 weeks ago and now have 9ex to spend??? This must be some kind of a record, or ...

I looked back in xyz again now, you can find 3-4 4L Marohi's today, but prices are still way more that when i bought mine (5ex for 5L in September 24).

Ofc targeting can be troublesome now that the "Multistike 3-hit combo" takes longer, but it's not as annoying as in HS when you try to take down the boss and it keeps hitting random near-by monsters, lol.

Dude, stop acting like a crybaby, I started this game 3 weeks ago and I am currently using this build, Dominus on normal was easy.

Now, either you man up and start checking where you went wrong, or you can still continue crying on these forums, your choice.
