How is that high damage setup working for you Tommy?

I see you taken all the dmg nodes (and Auras) you could but not much armor, and i am very curious to know how is your survivability with only 2K life and sub-10K armor (with that nice 2.2K Armor you got, Grace and Determination would go a long way!).

Yes, it is working very good for me. I rather have high dps than tanky with low dps. Sometime I can find myself having too little survivability. But I often leech life then and/or pop an instant pot. I'm also at capped 75% in all 3 resists, thought I'm -60chaos res, but I can survive using blood rage for an example so its not too big of a deal for me. Your build looks kinda fun too. I would use determention instead of hatred, though its % and I would have to use it on bm, which I'm sure you already know isnt too good.
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

hmmmmm so no big issues in staying alive... Nice to hear :)

I was thinking of dropping some dmg nodes for more Armor ones in the coming respec (also dropping some of those +15res nodes), but now i might reconsider.
The hard part is that you can't "try out" different setups, since it's too costly in regrets :/

I also wait to see the Aura changes, i have leveled a Putiry and tried it on (i have an Alpha's Howl), but with 3 auras on Mana i have less then 100 left (so i can't run my HS on mana anymore).

Edit:
Oh i just saw you haven't taken Bone Smasher for two nodes???
That's the best (in my noob opinion XD) and "cheapest" node if you use Maces.
If you drop the last two dmg nodes that go to the Templar start and get the two to Bone Smasher, you will gain 18% using the same points!
(now 10+12, with BoneS instead 12+28)

Can't say about other 1.0.0 changes, but atleast nice boost coming to hp and 2H weapon damages. Hope for the best.
Hey there. I stopped playing PoE long time ago, but suddently, I decided to come back in and play my favourite build, which is this one! I have only played Marauder and only with this build and it was so good I never wanted to change. However, coming back in I decided to step up and play Hardcore. So Ive got few questions:
1. How does it work in Hardcore? Is it the same undying crazy warrior oneshotting or I have to be much more careful of my steps?
2. Are there any major changes that hurted the build? I havent played since like 5 months or something.
Thanks for reading. This build is badass!
1. As every melee prone to desync. I wouldn't recommend it in hardcore
2. Not really.

(tl;dr down bottom)

Hey NinjaArabStrategist,

Sweet build, amazing guide, and great support from you answering the questions.

I started my first real character with this build. First real character, because I played 3 classes for several levels each, back in January 2011 in the closed beta, but the game didn't hooked me and I stopped playing. Now few years later, with the coming release I decided to give it another try and I'm completely in love with the game (it's a blast). I play for about a week now and I'm breezing through Cruel with your Marauder beast build.

I have one problem with this build though and I'm asking for your advice:

I can't keep up with dexterity required for Grace. I didn't saw specific instructions about that in the guide. I'm level 55 now and I have the Dex nodes all the way to Iron Reflex. I was forced to use Dex amulet (although I have a way better one, but with no Dex) and several levels later my Grace is still blocked from rising, because I need even more Dexterity (I think is 4 Dex per level of Grace). My Grace is only level 6 and already requiring 94 Dex.

So what is your advice for all of us. Maybe you should include it in the guide.

tl;dr how to keep up my Dexterity for the need of Grace gem?

P.S.
Really sorry if the issue is addressed already in the thread. It's hard to cover 230+ pages. But if this question is answered already just tell me and I'm gonna search through all the pages, then.

in my non-expert opinion, you could always use gear stats. I use attribute-giving-gear since lvl60 or so (for Grace and later also Int for Hatred).
